About the home

Villa Gioia is one of the most desirable villas in the area as it is one of the rare front row villas in the area. It has a private pool with marble sunbathing terrace and its own beach platform with sun umbrellas. The garden is perfectly maintained with lawn and palm trees as well as magnificent bougainvillea and jasmines. The veranda, overlooking to Castellorizio Island, is covered to provide shade where you can have your meals and have a drink and it is completely furnished.

The villa has 4 double bedrooms and 3 high standard bathrooms ( 2 en suite) ,a big kitchen and a huge living room.Two of the bedrooms and the master bathroom are downstairs whereas two other bedrooms with en suite bathrooms and the study are on the second floor. A sun-bathing terrace with all its privacy and stunning views can also be found on the 2nd floor. It has been decorated with beautiful modern furniture. Villa Gioia is air-conditioned throughout ( even the kitchen ) which also supplies heat during colder months. Besides it has a utility room which can be used as a maid's room. Weekly change of linens and once a week cleaning service are supplied by the owner.

Both en suite bathrooms are decorated with black Italian granite stone and modern fixtures. The 3rd bathroom is very big and features also a bidet. All of the bathrooms have big showers and lots of storage space.
The kitchen furnitures are made to measure with high quality materials.
Bedrooms are decorated with first quality furnitures and have lots of closets.
Floors are hardwood and beautiful Italian ceramic.
Garden is maintained by a gardener who is on the premises everyday.

Around the pool there is a large sunbathing terrace which is surrounded by a beautiful lawn covered garden which is very rare in the area. The veranda is covered to provide shade and it has a table which can seat 10 people and garden furniture which makes the outdoor living very pleasant.
The infinity pool has magnificent views. The private beach platform is only steps away ( less than 50 m) and it has sun chairs and umbrellas.
There is a bbq where you could cook your meals at your pleasure. Covered parking space for 1 car.

Minimum stay is one week. For stays of 2 weeks or more there is a 5 % discount. No animals. No more than 8 people.

Conditions

30 % of the payment at the time of reservation. The rest one week before the arrival date. 200 pounds deposit.
In case of cancellation in the last month before the arrival date the owner keeps 20% of the down payment.

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region

Turquoise coast is one of the sought after holiday locations of Turkey. The climate is mild during winter and hot but dry during summer. Kas is a quite town which has lots of restaurants and bars and it has managed to keep its authentic beauty all these years. The area is not highly constructed and it has a magnificent water which is warm to keep you swimming for hours. Kas is also famous for its diving facilities. Around Kas there are several beaches with sand which you can arrive by car, public transportation or by boats. But most of the hotels and houses have access to the water through platforms ( no sand ).

Around the area there are lots of historical places which you can reach in less than a hour.

The Kas / Cukurbag Peninsula area

Kas is a small town where you can enjoy your holidays without the usual crowd. It has lots of restaurants, local and international cuisine, and bars. It is famous for diving and if you do not enjoy diving you could take the small boats to beaches and for a wonderful swim around the little islands. There is boat service to the Greek island of Castellorizo.

“Great location, lovely house and pool” The Kas peninsula is totally gorgeous and this house is in a great location - complete with lovely pool and great swimming platform and fantastic iews to Castellorizzo. If you hae young children/non-swimmers in the partty, be aware that the water is deep. We had a great stay - the house is very clean, well furnished and very comfortable and the AC is fantastic.The bottled water is also really useful (provided through the gardener). Only SLIGHT criticism, the kitchen could be a little better equipped as you'll probably cook at home a great deal (draining pasta for 7 people is not easy without a collander!). THaving WiFi is useful (especially with teenagers and people who need to check emails) but the Internet connection (and the electricty supply) cam be a bit intermittent. You could cope without a car but it's better to have one as Kas is at least 10 minutes drive (for groceries etc.) and you'll want to explore the region (especially the Lycian sites and Patara beach). Also DO go on a boat trip to Kekova.
