There are numerous other attractions within the kas area including parasailing, scuba diving, and bushwalking along the Lycian trail. Quiet and peaceful, Honey House is a retreat away from the busy holiday atmosphere of Kas, offering private views and its own pool, BBQ and outdoor living area sitting in a traditional turkish garden. With one double and one twin bedroom, the villa is ideal for families, with plenty in the surrounding area to see and do during your stay.

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region

Cukurbag stands on the Lycian Way, Turkey's first long-distance marked walk, which runs from Fethiye in the west to Antalya in the east The walk takes in many Lycian and Roman settlements, many of which remain remarkably intact. Many other sections of the Lycian Way are within easy reach and provide ideal walks of varying lengths from 2 hours to a full day or more.
Kalkan is a further 20 minute drive from Kas. The Lycian settlements of Hoyran and Simena (for the sunken city of Kekova) are around half an hour's drive from Cukurbag. Patara, with its impressive Lycian and Byzantian ruins and gorgeous sandy beach, is around 50 mins drive from Cukurbag. Saklikent Gorge is also about 50 mins drive

Kas / Cukurbag Village area

Cukurbag is around ten minutes drive from the harbour town of Kas offering many restaurants, supermarkets and banking facilities. This area of Turkey is famous for outdoor activities including hiking the Lycian Way, scuba diving, parasailing and a departure point for the nearby Greek Island of Meis. Kas has 2 pebbly beaches, as well as a number of 'beach clubs' which provide free sunbeds and umbrellas on sunbathing platforms with direct access to the sea. Kas has many scuba diving sites and there are many scuba diving companies which offer activities for the beginner to professional divers.
There are numerous gulet trips on offer cruising the bays and islands, which visit Byzantine ruins, or snorkelling in the beautiful turqoise waters

How to get there

Cukurbag is approximately 2.5 hours transfer from Dalaman or Antalya International airports. . Car or scooter hire is advised as there is little public transport to and from Cukurbag village (apart from taxis). Most of the major car hire companies are represented at both Dalaman and Antalya. Alternatively, Kas's car rental agencies include return airport transfers at reasonable rates for guests who prefer not to drive on unfamiliar roads after a long journey. Car hire or transfers can be arranged on request.
