The Turkish Mediterranean Coast region
The Turquoise Coast and Lycia region of Turkey is home to some of its most well known resorts. Olu Deniz is famed for its blue lagoon, and the whole of the coastline is spectacular. For those who like nightlife and plenty to do, Fethiye and Bodrum are great for combining ancient sights and wonders with modern facilities.
Marmaris is a more European style resort, but still boasts a lovely old town quarter.
Kas is a place to experience the fascinating wonders of art, history, sea and forest all at once. Kas will certainly satisfy your desire to discover some unspoiled spots.
Kas is set in a charming location on the Lycian Coast and is surrounded by magnificent mountainous countryside, and the water offers excellent swimming and diving. Kas has managed to maintain its traditional fishing village atmosphere and despite its international popularity has not been spoiled by the ravages of mass tourism.
Kas lies between Antalya and Fethiye on the majestic lycian coast. The sheltered bay of Kas is composed of the old harbour winged by Limanagiz bay and the peninsula, facing the Greek island of Kastellorizo (tr. Meis) only 5km away.

Stayed here for a fortnight in June and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The villa has everything you need and despite having its own sea platform is only a short walk to pick up a bus into town (wonderful drive round the peninsula). The sea platform is awesome - to be able to walk down the steps and have a swim and watch the view from a lounger is really quite impressive. i have never had anything quite like it. The pool is a good size and the jacuzzi is a nice feature too. We had quite a few barbies as the meat from the butcher and the veggies from the Friday market were lovely (and cheap). Kas itself is a beautiful little town. Plenty places to eat and drink and wont break the bank either. We hired a boat for a day too with Coptain Ergun and went snorkeling around the Kas area. If we return to Kas we will definitely be booking Villa Deniz!! Thanks ver much for our stay (getting the bottled water delivered was also a winner so thanks for sorting that!)

"Totally as promised - spacy and perfect"
Perfect house. When You enter the premises, You leave the surrounding neighborhood behind - You have only the seeview and the privateness in this lovely house with pool, but also only 60 stairs to Your own mediterranean swim. The neerby town is big enough to have it all, incl nice restaurants and harbour promenade, and small enough to be pittoresque and cute. Try it - You won´t regret.

"Beautiful house a little bit neglected"
Yes, we enjoyed the stay in Villa Deniz! The house is all in all excellent, the rooms are spacious and with a great view to the sea, but a little bit neglected: the access to the sea is in a bad condition and dangerous, to adults but especially to children (rusty and with sharp edges), there was only one parasol for Villa Deniz there was no fluid, tea towel, spicery etc All in all small things, but in this category of house we would expect more perfection.
Tea towels have been replaced (a lot of things are replaced at an ongoing basis). In relation to spicery etc. I have specifically asked my Turkish agent to make sure that there are no food or similar left from previous guests to avoid any complains that the villa has not been thoroughly cleaned. There are now more parasols at the villa. If you stay at my villa and miss something you can generally just call my Turkish agent and she will make sure that we buy anything that could be missing.

"Excellent villa in spectacular position."
We had a fabulous holiday at Villa Deniz. The view from the villa was outstanding - waking up in the morning to that view was something else. The villa was well equipped, clean, and easy to look after. The inshore breeze in the evening made the temperature really comfortable for eating outside in the evening, even in August. The pool was really appreciated, and our kids were rarely out of it!! We were met in Kas when we arrived and taken to the villa, shown round and given lots of advice and help, which was appreciated. Gulslev, one of the housekeepers was more than helpful and we could reach her any time we needed advice. The free wifi was well used by our 16 year old and a bonus when so many villas still charge for it. We swam in the sea every day from the villa, and although it was deep, even our 9 year old was happy snorkelling there. Kas is a delightful town and we spent quite a lot of time there. We didn't like Kalkan as much, it was very hot there when we visited, and very much set up for the Brits!! We try to get away from that when we travel, so Kas felt much more cosmopolitan. Shopping for food was good and eating out was varied and usually good quality. The highlight of the holiday though was renting a private boat for snorkelling. We swam round ancient ruins and saw the most incredible fish and sea life and were fed a meal of freshly caught tuna bbq'd on the back of the boat..... amazing! I would highly recommend Villa Deniz to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday in a beautiful position - we will return in the future.

"Roomy, well-equiped villa in magnificent location"
We stayed for one week in early June:my wife, son, daughter-in-law, and 6 year old grandson. We had previously been to Kas in the same area. It is a terrific destination for a relaxing, interesting, and beautiful holiday. The modern, typical limestone style villa is divided into 3 levels with bedrooms on floors 3 and 1, living and dining room and deck on level 2, infinity pool on level 1, so there is excellent privacy. Views are spectacular (as are most on the peninsula). Kitchen was well-equipped. Furnishings are comfortable and new. There is a private walk to a platform and the sea below where we enjoyed swimming and snorkeling. Only concern was that the internet WIFI was unreliable. The caretakers were responsive, although mainly unnecessary. They came for the WIFI problem but could not solve it for us. House worked very well for our family group. Neighborhood was quiet, although we could hear music from a nearby hotel terrace. House is safe for children. Mostly screened but 3rd fl bedroom needed screens.
Thanks - I have made sure that the the fly screens are on all windows. Unfortunately the internet is sometimes unreliable on the peninsuala - but hopefully it will improve in the future.

"Great house with spectacular view"
We stayed for two weeks in Villa Deniz, late June - early July 2012. Having rented some very nice houses in Spain and France previously we were delighted to find Villa Deniz to be our best experience so far. The small town of Kas and its surrounding is a charming destination and Villa Deniz, which is situated as close to the Mediterranean as you can get, is a large and very comfortable property. The terraces, where we spent a lot of time, offer spectacular views and you can also relax next to the water line by walkig down the stairs to the private terrace and sun chairs there. The water is clear and fresh but the kids nevetheless spent more time in the pool than in the sea. Turgay and Guslev, who manage housing practicalities, were very friendly and efficient and we lacked nothing. We hope to be back soon! Magnus and family, Sweden
