About the home

Stylish modern villa in own private gardens overlooking sea, the Greek island Castellorizo and other small Turkish islands, situated just off the mainland. The Villa is located just 5 minutes walk to sea. It has 3 double bedrooms and 3 en suite Shower/bathrooms, plus downstairs cloakroom/wc. Every room has stunning sea view terraces. In the mature, landscaped gardens there is a barbecue area with working oven/barbecue. The villa has a covered car port. Be aware; the third bedroom is next to the poolroom.

Kas town is 5 kilometres distance, large variety of local restaurants and bars, supermarkets, shops, friday market, fish market, port with daily boat tours to Simena, Sunken City, Castellorizo (Meis) nearby Greek Island, also private daily or weekly charter boats, horseriding, paragliding, mountain walks, fishing, ancient Greek and Lycian ruins nearby.
The location of villa Jasmine is extremely peaceful and picturesque with amazing views over the mediterranean. Just a few minutes walk away is a small hotel where guests can dine or have drinks at extremely reasonable prices and have the use of the private beach/jetty facilities. There is a gardener/ pool man who will also bring fresh bread each morning for breakfast . We provide a weekly housekeeper. Extra cleaning can be arranged at additional charge.

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region

Warm all year round and hot in summer, very temperate winter climate, Kas, the ancient port of Antiphellos has pretty cobbled streets, attractive port with picturesque gulets (wooden sail ships) ferries and local excursion boats, some with glass bottoms to visit ancient ruins of the sunken city of Simena. Kas is ideal for diving and there are several good diving schools within the town.

There are many historical places of interest such as Antiphellos (amphitheatre) , Xantos (Lycian ruins and tombs,)Olympos (with its never ending fires coming from the ground - great to visit early evening at dusk) Myra, (amphitheatre and tombs) Church of St Nicholas (home of Santa Claus) , Patara (ancient ruins and amphitheatre and beautiful long sandy beach, Kaputas (considered one of the most beautiful beaches in the world) , Saklikent Gorge - a lovely mountain retreat with cool running river and restaurants perched above the water under the trees, great place to get cool in hot weather.

Simena is a short distance by car via Ucagiz where you can pick up a boat to Simena or a daily boat excursion goes direct from Kas.
Our house is on the Cukurbag Peninsula about 5 kilometres from Kas, facing beautiful Greek and Turkish Islands on the Mediterranean Coast. It’s a great centre for walking and exploring, swimming, snorkelling, diving, fishing, paragliding, windsurfing.
Many people enjoy the opportunity of fishing locally.

You can sit on any of the beautiful terraces of the Villa and watch the lovely gullets sailing by; the occasional ferry going to Castellorizo and the daily diving boat which stops just down the hill and you can relax and watch them dive.

This part of the Mediterranean is rich in history and has a huge variety of places to visit.
Kas is a lively fishing port and has great selection of restaurants, a pretty port, shops, supermarkets and shops plus a popular Friday market. There is a coach station where coaches to other towns can be taken if people prefer not to drive.

The Kas / Cukurbag Peninsula area

Kas is located where the Taurus Mountains meet the Turquoise Coast/Mediterranean Sea. The scenery is spectacular and every season you can watch the magnificent sunset from our terrace. Choices of different beaches to cater for every taste from long sandy beaches to very clean and quiet, rocky bays.

You can actually watch the divers from the terrace, stopping by the rocks just below the house as it’s a great area for diving. Many people also snorkel in this area and it’s great to have all this within 5 minutes walk of the house.

Places of interest: Simena, Sunken City, St Nicholas Church, and amphitheatre in Myra, Antiphellos amphitheatre, Kas, Kaputas Beach, lively port, many local Greek and Turkish islands.

Regular fights from most European locations - Dalaman and Antalya airports are modern international airports.
Kas is approximately 2 hour taxi or car hire transfer, 3 hours from Antalya.
We can assist guests in arranging cheap car hire, available locally which will include collection and drop off at airport in their rate.
There are regular half hourly mini buses from Kas to the Peninsula from early morning until late night and very reasonable price.
Local taxis are easily available, cheap and reliable.

“Fantastic Villa!” Villa Jasmine, is a beautiful villa with all amenities. The swimming pool and views were amazing. We enjoyed nights in having bbqs and nights out locally. I think it is definitely an advantage to have a car to get around. The weather was fantastic. Nina was very helpful in providing information. I would love to visit Villa Jasmine in the future!

“We had a fantastic holiday, the pool and villa location so close to the sea were excellent. Highly r” Villa Jasmine was a perfect location for a relaxing holiday. The views from the property are stunning and access to the sea from the diving boards was an added benefit within walking distance. Staff at the local hotels were very accomodating and we enjoyed several pleasant meals there. The villa is very well presented and met all of our needs. The pool was great and the kids spent hours enjoying it. Kas town 5 to 10 minutes by car is busy and vibrant and offers a more authentic experience than some of the other resorts visited further west. Restaurants are good with a great variety of cuisines. Local people are very friendly and helpful. I would recommend Villa Jasmine and would love to stay again when we return to Turkey.
