Superb 3 bedroom villa located in the traditional Turkish village of Cukurbag right on the Lycian Way, providing an ideal base for walkers.
The villa is well appointed, having its own private pool and terrace. Just 10 mins drive from the harbour town of Kas with its pebble beach, many fantastic restaurants, supermarkets and amenities.
Closer to home, the nearby vilage of Agulla has a local shop and bakery and also a great pizza restaurant.

Bedroom 1 downstairs with en suite, including Jacuzzi bath. Double Bed.
Bedroom 2 upstairs with en suite, has the benefit of 2 single beds.
Bedroom 3 upstairs with en suite, has the benefit of 2 single beds.
En suite to all bedrooms, Bedroom 1 with Jacuzzi bath. Bedrooms 2 and 3 have showers.
Separate WC downstairs.
Utility Room, off kitchen, includes a washing machine.
Lounge, including widescreen TV, DVD and surround sound system.
Upstairs terrace, reached via landing.
Towels and linen included, villa will be cleaned ready for arrival and subsequently weekly. Beach towels are also provided.
Private gardens, barbecue, outside dining table with 6 chairs. 6 sunbeds. The pool is private and is solely for guests staying in the villa (measures approximately 7m x 4m).
The villa is fully air conditioned, as the pool is unfenced and does not have a shallow end, we would recommend caution where younger children are concerned.
Cukurbag is ideally placed for walkers and offers the opportunity to experience an authentic Turkish village experience.

Conditions
Smoking is only allowed on the patio and roof terrace. Please do not smoke inside the property.
Although the property is suitable for elderly visitors, it is not suitable for those with restricted mobility.
The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region
Kas is one of the most picturesque and stylish ports along the Turquoise coast. On the hills behind the town Lycian rock tombs can be seen. At night when they are floodlit, they are a magnificent sight.
Kas has a wonderful market which sells a host of goods from fresh fruit and vegetables to clothes, leather goods, jewellery and much much more! A visit is not to be missed and the local stallholders love to barter, so there is always a bargain to be had!
A monumental sarcophagus dominates the centre of this tiny town. Lycian rock tombs dot the sheer rock wall above the town and the city is full of charming shops, stylish cafes, elegant restaurants, boutiques and exquisite jewellers.
The Greek island of Meis lies just off the coast.
The Kas / Cukurbag Village area
Cukurbag is ideally placed for walkers, and offers the opportunity to experience an authentic Turkish village experience.
10 mins drive from Kas, which has a pebble beach. 40 mins drive from Kaputas, surely one of the most photographed beaches in Europe.
Kas is a small harbour town, offering many restaurants, supermarkets and banking facilities. This area of Turkey is famous for outdoor activities including mountain biking and scuba diving.
Kas has many scuba driving sites, over 18 in fact. There are many scuba diving companies which offer exciting activities meeting demands for beginners to professional divers. Such activities include night diving for professionals, cave diving, open water PADI diving to diving in shipwrecks, but to name a few. A quick stroll along the harbour and a chat with some of the boat owners/diving instructors and you will be able to familiarise yourself with one of the many packages available.
For those who enjoy mountain biking, there are a mixture of off road breathtaking mountain tracks, along with seldom used asphalt roads.

Dalaman is the nearest airport. From Newcastle Airport: flythomascook.com, aegeanflights.com and Thomsonfly to name but a few, from LeedsBradford various carriers and from Durham Teesside aegeanflights.com and Goldtrail holidays. There are plenty of flights from other Airports inc EasyJet and Jet2.com. Transfer time to the villa by car is approx 1hr 45 min.
Car Hire
We recommend www.andifli.com. They are based in Kas and are very reliable. The cars are clean and new. They will also drop a car off at the airport if required . When you leave the airport someone will be at the exit with a board with your name on to collect you and they will take you the short walk to your car.
Airport Transfer
If transfers are required we can arrange this with Andifli . The prices are competitive and if a car is hired from them you would only pay for the transfer fuel costs.

We stayed here for a week and loved it. The villa is lovely and has everything you would need for a holiday. It was spotlessly clean, and had every mod con you needed, and more. We had a transfer and a hire car from Tunahan in Kas, and their service and the transfer river were brilliant..very reliable and courteous. As we were there in a heat wave we spent a lot of time at the villa..we had a 3 year old with us, so venturing out in the heat seemed unfair when we had everything we needed there. We did a lot of cooking there, the outside barbeque was great, and so were the kitchen facilities. If you were up early enough you could catch the bread man on his rounds..we managed it once, but it was a short trip in the car to the local shop which had most of what we needed. There was also a butcher close by and a man with a van and his fresh veg. We did go to Kas town a few times to get supplies and have a meal, but we were more than happy to get back to the villa to chill out. Highly recommended. |

Availability notes:
The property is not available from November until April as the winter in Turkey can be a little chilly. The cost of electricity makes rental costs prohibitive.
