About the home

YARIMADA VILLAs is located on the Kas peninsula just outside the town of Kas, looking south of Greek island Meis, with its own beach platforms and spectacular sea views from every room. It has swimming pool, private garden + shares a tea garden.The sea is only 150 m away, a few steps through the garden and wild nature, you are by the sea and beach platforms with a privacy there is hard to find anywhere else.

YARIMADA VILLAS (Villa Yesil,Villa Mavi,Villa Sari,Villa Turuncu) with 150 square meters each of living space. Guests at Yarimada Villas enjoy magnificent panoramic views across the Mediterranean. The villas are luxuriously appointed, have a spacious, light airy feel with a mix of traditional Turkish chic.

There are spectacular views afforded from every window and you can lie on your bed and watch the sunrise.The villas are uniquely designed and boast the best balcony view of any villa on the Peninsular.
Bedrooms open up onto a balcony that afford panoramic views across the mountains, sea, and distant Greek islands that punctuate the sea’s horizon. The bathrooms are luxuriously appointed, one having a large bath and the other with a walk-in shower.

The kitchens are fully equipped (see above) . There is ample storage. There is a large dining table, seating six. All diners have a view of the sea and mountains.
We have a no smoking policy in the villas. We ask guests to smoke on the terraces or balconies outside.

The fully air-conditioned accommodation offers:
2 double bedroom have kings sized beds & private sea view balconies; the 3rd bedroom has twin beds.
Stylishly furnished open plan, split level living/dining room, polished travertine fire place, equipped with large flat screen LCD digital satellite television with DVD . The living room has patio doors opening directly onto a shaded alfresco dining terrace, near the pool terrace.

The swimming pool with sun loungers + mattresses and parasols provided. The garden balcony overlooking the pool area.

The villa is set within its own gardens with an exotic mix of palm trees, bougainvillea, jasmine, lilac, honeysuckle, lemon and olive trees and a variety of shrubs that flower at different times of the year. Travertine terraces trap the sun around the pool. But if it gets too hot there are shady areas, with spectacular views where you can take a nap, or have a massage in the midday sun.

Yarimada Villas have own private bathing area by the beach, with access to the sea. Although there are other platforms dotted about the coastline, even in the summer months you will probably have this entire stretch of coastline to yourself. The sea is warm here, right up to the end of October. The water is very clear and there are abundant and varied fish (bring your scuba gear).

Watching the sunset from here and listening to the waves lapping against the rocks in perfect solitude it's worth the price of the airfare in itself.

If you prefer not to drive, frequent Dolmus’ (buses) provide cheap and easy access to the main town of Kas. Just wave one down at the top of the road. Alternatively, taxis are readily available and are reasonable.
Bottled water will be in the Villa on the day of your arrival.

Our representative Unal, (Sunestate Kas) & Deniz (rent a car + transfer.), will be useful during your holiday to provide information about your stay. (English & German spoken.)
Syra & Senya are the maids and will visit mid week (on cost) to do a general cleaning and then at the end of the week to carry out a full clean, (no cost) (.English spoken.)

Fatih or Bayram, the gardener and pool attendant comes to the villa twice a day. In the morning they clean the pool and terrace as well as bringing guests a loaf of bread (on cost.)(English & German spoken.)

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region

Beaches: If you feel like a swim in the Mediterranean sea, you can always take a dive from the platform- terrace near the house.
In addition to that there are two small beaches in Kas – one of them 5-600 meters from the harbour. You can sunbathe or take a dive from the cliffs into the blue sea.
On the Kas peninsula (where The 4 Villas are situated) there is also a small beach , the water here is always very calm, as it lies at the end of a large bay between the peninsula and the main land. This is very close to a large enclosure where you can swim with dolphins and small white whales. 

For a day out we suggest Patara Beach . Patara is the ancient sea port for Xantos that is covered with the most beautiful white sand. Patara is an 11 mile unforgettable and incomparable beach. Here you can swim in the famous “Blue cave” in crystal clear turquoise blue sea water.
We also highly recommend Kaputas beach(photo above) about 20 minutes west of Kas , by bus or car). Or Pebble Beach only 5 min. east of Kas,a beautiful magical lagoon. Both beaches have many facilities: WC, douche, sun beds, parasols and restaurants.
A popular alternative is to hire one of the many small boats. These “water buses”will take you to some very small and beautiful lagoons . It is very easy and it does not cost much.

The Kas / Cukurbag Peninsula area

Kas, A piece of Paradise, it`s where Sun, Sea and History meets. The high altitude green Taurus Mountains surround the small fishing harbour. The town stretches from the harbour and up the mountain slope. It has an extremely charming maze of narrow streets and beautiful old houses. It´s enjoyable just to stroll around the streets, exploring the souvenir shops, cafés and restaurants. Be charmed by the people, the history and the cosy atmosphere by the harbour at sunset. Turkey invites you to experience the magic of Kas.? 

Though out the last decades Kas has been the place to be for the best craftsmen in Turkey, and they contribute to the town´s charm with a relaxing bohemia environment. The shops are bursting with fine jewellery, colourful textiles,herbs and spices You will find first class craftsmanship for an affordable price in a atmosphere you will not find many other places.
Though the years visitors have travelled a long way just to see examples of lycian burial chambers – the mountain chambers that are carved into the mountain wall high above sea level and the sarco phagi spread out along the coast. A couple of miles to the west you will find an old well preserved theatre from the hellenistic age.
