The Kyrenia District
Northern Cyprus is one of the relatively few uncommercial areas left in the Mediterranean. Its climate consists of long hot summers and short mild winters, it can boast over 300 days of sunshine where the warmth continues right through to November, with the lowest sea temperature rarely below 63 degrees F.
The town of Kyrenia has a picturesque harbour with a Venetian castle as its backdrop which is illuminated by night, it is thriving with bustling cafes, bars and restaurants for a perfect day trip or evening out. For those who like shopping there are a wide range of individual shops for all tastes and needs and a weekly market on Wednesday which is well worth a visit.
The natural beauty of the area will leave you breathless with its rugged range of mountains running parallel to the coast providing opportunities for walks and picnics in the beautiful forests with an abundance of wild flowers in the springtime. The coastline enjoys beautiful beaches either accompanied by all the amenities or almost deserted with crystal clear waters further afield. There are a number of protected turtle beaches where it can be possible to watch hundreds of these amazing little creatures hatch. This attractive resort boasts many historic sites worth visiting among these are the Horseshoe Harbour, the castle and the Shipwreck Museum. Outside Kyrenia there is St Hilarion Castle, Bellepais Abbey and the Folk and Icon Museums to visit.
Karsiyaka area
The picturesque village of Karsiyaka is just 20 minutes drive from Kyrenia, it is set in a stunning rural location with fantastic views of the Bespark mountain range. Karsiyaka has a couple of local shops and a brand new Restaurant within walking distance. A short drive away there are numerous secluded coves and beeches and an extensive choice of excellent restaurants.
There is an 18 hole championship golf course with leisure complex and driving range about 1 hour and 20 minute drive. Further details about this excellent course can be found @ http://www.korineumgolf.com.

How to get there
Flights to North Cyprus (Ercan Airport) depart from Heathrow, Gatwick, Stanstead, Manchester, Belfast and Glasgow. Currently, they all have to land in Turkey to refuel and drop off/pick up passengers - you will stay on the plane for about 45mins.
The villa is about 45mins from the airport, a taxi can be arranged or you can pick up your Hire Car at the airport and make your own way.
Alternatively, you can fly into the South (Larnaca airport is best) and we can arrange for a Taxi to pick you up. The journey takes about 1hr 45mins.

Further details indoors: The accommodation comprises of a Large Master bedroom suite with Kingsize bed, En-suite, Dressing Area and a Balcony with sea views. Downstairs, Bedroom 2 has a Double bed, En-suite and fitted wardrobes. Bedroom 3 has Twin beds, fitted wardrobes and is located opposite the family bathroom. The bright and spacious Circular Lounge has a Log Fire, floor to ceiling glass windows and a glass door to a terrace. The kitchen includes high quality white goods and a Dining area with seating for six.
The villa has a DVD player and an iPod Docking Station. Their will be a bottle of water supplied for the water cooler.
The Villa is large and airy, glass doors from the lounge open onto an undercover terrace, lawn area and large 10m x 5m swimming pool. The kitchen also opens on to a patio area next to the swimming pool.
Further details outdoors: The villa has a large man made Lawn and patio area that has been landscaped so you can Sunbathe, Swim and Relax without the need to wear any shoes, it is furnished with sun loungers, parasols, and tables. The shaded terrace area also has a table and chairs for six people, which is ideal for Afresco dining.
The large 10 x 5m swimming pool is managed by a local pool company during your stay. The shallow end is suitable for young children.
The gated front drive is gravelled with parking available for three cars. The villa is situated on a large plot surrounded by tradditional stone walling.

Our management couple will meet you on your first day to help you settle in and answer any questions you may have. For late arrivals there will be a welcome pack to see you through the first night.
Linen and bath towels are provided. Please bring your own beach and pool towels. Sheets and towels are changed weekly.
Conditions
20% on booking (non-refundable) and balance 8 weeks before departure.
A refundable deposit of £150 against breakages is payable and we request that guests advise our managers of any breakages so that future guests are not inconvenienced in any way.
