Villa Trisca is a beautiful, traditional in style, honey colour stone-built house with an awesome mountain backdrop just a couple of minutes stroll from the sea on a development of just 5 houses, completed in summer 2006.

The Kyrenia District
Kyrenia, with its famous little horseshoe harbour lined with restaurants and bars and dominated by the massive Byzantine castle, lies at the foot of the Five Finger mountain range. From here you can explore Northern Cyprus which is arguably the most beautiful part of the island and steeped in history. Nearby Bellapais has an ancient Abbey, quaint narrow streets with fine restaurants and superb views. St Hilarion, Kantara and Baffavento castles are also situated high above Kyrenia. For the most part, it is still undeveloped. With its crystal clear sea and wide variety of beaches, from the sophisticated to the deserted (even in high season and some with turtles or wild donkeys!), it is reminiscent of the Med before ruination by mass tourism.
What is more, it truly is an island for all seasons, with long hot summers and mild winter months. The people couldn't be more welcoming, the food and wine excellent and inexpensive and driving is still a pleasure and on the left!
Karsiyaka area
20 mins to the west of Kyrenia, Karsiyaka village, with its protruding mosque, nestles up the hill from the main coastal road on the lower slopes of the highest point of the Five Finger Mountain range. Villa Trisca is located on the 'sea' side of this road, a short walk from the Square and Ataturk Park, where most Saturday evenings local wedding receptions are held al fresco, and where you also find a couple of mini-markets, the local coffee and butcher's shops (large supermarkets are located about 15 mins drive). A few minutes stroll down the road in the opposite direction and you arrive at the sea with various small coves and local fish restaurant.
The setting is one of complete tranquillity; you can hear the faint noise of crashing waves, the distant call to prayer and the offshore breeze whistling through the trees at the bottom of the garden which is especially noticeable during the full moon. Yet the coastal road into Kyrenia boasts a wide selection of restaurants, beach clubs/discos, bars and casinos and you will be spoilt for choice. In addition to the usual water sports, scuba diving and paragliding is offered and there is a fantastic go-kart track.

Further details indoors: The thick stone walls and wooden shutters are excellent for fending off the summer heat and at the same time ensure cosiness in the winter months. All bedrooms have air-conditioning and the large living area with French doors at each end has 2 fans and an open fire. The cool white walls are complimented by fun, colourful furnishings with a very mediterranean feel.
A TV/PC monitor with satellite television and PC with internet access is provided for your convenience in addition to a local 'pay as you go' mobile telephone for cheaper calls.
Further details outdoors: The large irrigated garden, planted in May 2006, has a range of fruit trees, hibiscus and oleander hedges, bougainvillea,yucca, banana and palm trees ... and is already 'blooming'! The larger than average pool with lights for evening swimming, is maintained twice weekly and the extensive pool terrace has a plentiful supply of sunbeds, parasols, table and chairs and BBQ for your enjoyment. On the practical side, there is a rotary clothes line.

We are fortunate to have found a lovely couple, Linda and Suleyman, to manage our property and they will be available to meet you on your first day to help you settle in and answer any queries/problems you may have and for late arrivals there will be a welcome pack to see you through the first night.
Linen and towels are provided but you will need to bring your own pool/beach towels. A cleaning service can be arranged if desired.
Please ask for details about car hire/transfer to airport.
SPECIAL NOTE FOR LARGE PARTIES The 2 houses next door are also available for rent and we can therefore arrange to accommodate extended families/parties of friends.
Conditions
20% on booking (non-refundable) and balance 8 weeks before departure.
A refundable deposit of £100 against breakages is payable and we request that guests advise our managers of any breakages so that future guests are not inconvenienced in any way.

A DISCOUNT of £100 pw for a 2 person occupancy is applicable for the months April to Oct and £50 pw for the months Nov to Mar.
A SURCHARGE of £50 per extra person pw is applicable for 7-8 person occupancy.
