There are over 40 restaurants to choose from with a wide range of cuisine, including wonderfully traditional Austrian eateries. During the height of the winter the lake freezes over enabling activities such as curling and skating. In summer it offers a range of activities including sailing, windsurfing, canoeing and of course swimming.
Schmittenhöhe:
The nearby Schmittenhohe mountain in Zell Am See offers long tree lined descents and numerous secluded mountain restaurants and inns. Take in the panoramic views whilst you enjoy great food, wine and cheese with friendly Austrian hospitality.
