About the home

Large comfortable apartment of 110 metres square, conveniently located in the Europa Ski area of Kaprun and Zell am See. Skiing available all year round on the Kitzsteinhorn (3203 metres) glacier and a superb 36 hole golf course close by. Plenty of activities all year round and an ideal location for family holidays and group vacations.

The apartment has the benefit of an underground car parking space, apartment ski store, large external terrace with views of the Kitzsteinhorn glacier.

The apartment has 3 bedrooms 2 have these benefit from en-suite shower rooms, the third one having the use of the family bathroom.

The apartment is well equipped, with a comfortable seating and dining arrangements, it also has the benefit of a large terrace which takes in the view of the Kitzsteinhorn and a view across the valley to parts of Kaprun.

The apartment is beautifully furnished. In the lounge area there is a leather settee with comfortable seating for all of our guests.

The kitchen area has quality units and a granite worktop for that touch of style.

In the dining area there is a large dining table and seating for all your party to sit and enjoy a meal, and discuss the days activities and plans for the following day.

With the apartment there are reference books, maps and guides are provided to for you to get the most out of your stay.

Internet cable or wi-fi connection available for your computer.

To the outside of the premises is a large patio, from which there are superb and stunning views of the Kitzsteinhorn rising to 3203 metres and with its glaciers the ability to ski all year round.

To the side of the premises is a small garden area, the apartment looks out onto a small quiet road, from which it is a very short walk to the supermarket which is very conveniently located, for your added holiday convenience.

Further details

The apartment is in an excellent location, looks out across an open area, close to the Billa village super market, which is very convenient for nipping out to get extra supplies, and fresh bread in the morning.

The Austrian Alps / Salzburgerland region

Kaprun sits on the border between between the Austrian Tyrol with its regional capital if Innsbruck and the Salzburgland area, it is also adjacent to a Hohe Tauern National Park. Kaprun sits close to the junction of 5 valleys so is conveniently located for exploring further afield. The medieval market town of Zell am See with its stunning lake is easy to get to and a beautiful location any time of the year.

Whether you visit in Winter for the skiing, snow boarding or winter sports, or your come along for the spring flowers, summer festivals, adventure sports, cycling walking or autumn colours you will always find something wonderful and new to see and enjoy.

Trips to Salzburg and Innsbruck are great places to get to whether it be for sight seeing, shopping or for the culture. There are many other places of interest which includes castles, Palaces, ice caves, gorges, cable cars, boat rides and sports galore summer and winter.

The are swimming pools / spas in both Zell am See and Kaprun close by, with mountain lakes to swim in. Within the Gastein valley there are two spectacular thermal spas just over half a hour away, these are both worth visit. Tauern Spa Kaprun world is now open, which will be an extra reason to visit what ever the time of the year.

The Kaprun area

There are regular market days in Zell am See and there are regular parades and processions throughout the year. Austria is a country very set in tradition, culture and customs.

In Zell am See there is a medieval church which is well worth a visit, events within Kaprun castle are held throughout the year. Also in Kaprun there is an attractive church which stands proud above Kaprun.

Between Zell am See and Kaprun lies in a stunning situation the Championship golf club with 36 holes to play, so that even on competition days, a round of golf can be played by visitors.

Within walking of the apartment is the Klamm Sigmund gorge, with the hydro-power museum next door, both are well worth a visit, as well as the dams and glaciers further up the Kaprun valley.

Whatever time of the year you visit you will find there is plenty to do, see and visit.

Kaprun is conveniently located at just over 1 hour away from Salzburg by coach,car or train. It is also possible to fly to Innsbruck which is around 90 minutes away, and Munich airport is a little further away at about 2 hours.

There is an excellent road network from Salzburg and predominately Motorway or "A" class road, make for easy driving. Convenient and numerous flights to Austria and adjacent country airports.
