* Easily accessible by car with no winding mountainous roads to climb

* Nursery slope 300m from the apartment
* 10 minutes walk or a few minutes by bus/car to the Maiskogel skiing area
* 10 minute bus ride/drive to the Kitzsteinhorn glacier gondolas - year round skiing
* 10 minute bus ride/drive to the Zell am See gondola
* Free bus travel with ski pass which is very regular and punctual
* Bus stop is a couple of minutes walk from the apartment
* For the more adventurous there are plenty of other resorts to try - Saalbach, Leogang, Maria Alm, Mittersil (with the new cable car over to kitzbuhel) to name a few - which are all within a 30 minute (approx.) drive away.

Kaprun is a pretty, traditional Tyrolean village, at the foot of the breathtaking Kitzsteinhorn glacier. It is linked to Schuttdorf and Zell Am See, the resulting Europa Sport Region has 130km of pistes and offers a superb range of skiing opportunities. With the backdrop of the Kitzsteinhorn glacier and the Kaprunerache river running through the village, Kaprun is a delightful place in which to spend a winter or summer holiday.
