About the home

Both bedrooms have doors opening into a sunny garden. This newly built, modern chalet has an open-plan living area opening-up onto a terrace leading onto the sunny garden with its beautiful views. The modern kitchen is well equipped with an ice-maker fridge. There is a separate laundry room with washing machine and a private ski-room with ski-boot-warmer.
This apartment is just across the road of the Cross-Country Ski-run.

The 85m² are divided in:
1 Bedroom with double bed and en-suite bathroom with door leading into the garden.
1 Bedroom with 2 single-beds and door leading into the garden.
Open-plan living-room with fireplace opening up onto a terrace that leads into the garden.
two bathrooms, one of them is a luxury bathroom with an infra-red-cabin.

This apartment is on the ground floor.

This property is located in Walchen which is just outside of Kaprun, which can be reached in 8 minutes by car. Zell am see is a 10 minute drive.

The Austrian Alps / Salzburgerland region

Zell am See - Kaprun situated in the heart of the Alps in the province Salzburg is truthfully one of the most spectacular ski-regions in Austria. The two villages are 7 kms apart, hugging the Hohen Tauern mountainrange, and surrounded by the ski-mountain- peaks of Kitzsteinhorn (3.203 m ), Schmittenhöhe (2.000 m ) und Maiskogel (1.675 m). this region guarantees pure FUN!

Beginners on skis or carving pros - all winter sports fans will simply feel spoilt by 138 kilometres of downhill runs, spread out over 57 different pistes. The easy ones, marked in blue, are especially suitable for beginners. People who like it more active choose from 49 kilometres of red runs or opt for the slopes of the black category which are really hard to master.

The Kaprun / Piesendorf area

Piesendorf is a charming little Austrian village situated on the sunny side of the valley between two of Austria’s finest ski resort, Zell am See and Kaprun.

The view over the Hohe Tauern Mountainrange is absolutely magnificent and stretches as far as the eye can see to the East and to the West! The village centre of Piesendorf offers a bakery, supermarket, butchers, post office, café, restaurants, banks and a tourist information office. A wider selection of shops, boutiques, restaurants, bars and clubs can be found in the neighbouring centres of Kaprun (5 km) or Zell am See (8 km) - which you reach within 5 minutes by car.

The closest airport is Salzburg. This airport is about 99 kms from Kaprun. (1 hour and 20min. by car) There are frequent buses from the airport to the main railway station at Salzburg. From here trains can be taken to Zell am See. Buses also run from the airport direct to Zell am See.
