The Famagusta District
Leisurely 5 minute stroll takes you down to Fireman's Beach whilst Skoutari Beach with the adjacent Malama Hotel offers local water sports and access to the hotel facilities. A coastal path runs between the two beaches boasting a number of secluded bays along the way. Within a 15 minute drive you will find the famous Fig Tree Bay with long sandy beaches, water sports, the delightful Konnos Bay at Cape Greco with Water World and the fabulous Nissi Beach in Ayia Napa.
The administrative centre of Paralimni is just 2km away offering a blend of old and new with great places to eat, whilst the more vibrant Protaras and Pernera providing marvellous family and evening entertainment are 10 minutes drive away. Ayia Napa with lovely white sandy beaches, renowned night-life, marina and Water World coupled with amazing coastal sights is just 15 minutes away by car.
Kapparis area
Number of restaurants including 'Faliros' for authentic Greek food, 'Just Italian' for suberb Italian cuisine, the newly opened 'China House' and many more eateries are on the doorstep. Bars range from pubs like 'Kennedy's Bar' with wide sports coverage to more sophisticated venues such as Cello Cocktail Bar and newly opened 'Divino' operated by Faliros.
All approximately 5 minutes walk away. Supermarkets and a local bakery are also to be found on the main thoroughfare. A 24 hour bakery/supermarket is situated in Paralimni for those travellers who arrive late in the evening or during the night.
Kapparis is an all year round family friendly resort with good tavernas, restaurants, bars and local supermarkets. Next door to Kapparis you will find Ayia Triada and the Famagusta District Sailing Club with catamarans, lasers and windsurfing available. Scuba diving, cruises, snorkelling, cycling and walking along the coast is a further consideration. The neighbouring Moonshine Ranch offers horse riding.
How to get there
The nearest airport is Larnaca which is approximately 40 minutes away by car and 'Wits End' is very easy to find with clear instructions available on booking. Car hire is a good option to allow flexibility and to explore all the island has to offer, but is not essential.
Taxis are available at the airport. Paphos airport is a further option and is a 2 hour drive on excellent main roads. We can offer assistance with car hire and airport transfers.

Kitchen / Utility: The spacious modern well equipped open plan kitchen has stylish oak wood doors, marble worktops, and integrated appliances: fridge freezer, chrome effect oven /hob, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee maker, and all the requisite crockery and utensils. The washing machine is positioned in a utility cupboard.
Living Rooms: The open plan living area is spacious and light and benefits from three seater and two seater leather sofas (3 seater sofa converts to a sofa bed), flat screen Satellite TV, DVD player and a large dining table with six chairs. Patio doors lead onto a private pool area. Further double patio doors lead out onto the terrace which opens up into an outside living area by virtue of the range of outside furniture provided for additional luxury. A purpose built barbecue, sun beds, garden table and chairs contribute for memorable alfresco dining. Wii console with sports and sports resort available from January 2010.
Cleaning/towels/linen/maid service.
Quality bed linen, light weight duvets, bath sheets, bath towels and hand towels and sensible use of air conditioning are included, however we ask you to provide your own beach towels for outside use. Blankets are available for cooler nights. Extra cleaning in the form of a mid-stay clean and linen change can be arranged at an additional charge. Please enquire when booking.

Further details outdoors: 'Wits End' benefits from a corner location and as such the private external space is far larger than average. The villa affords the luxury of enjoying the Cyprus sunshine coupled with the great outdoor living experience.
The front terrace provides some shade in the heat of the date and the pergola running along the sea side of the villa provides further shade and benefits from the outside 'rattan' style lounge furniture allowing the inside and outside space to flow and maximise the use of all available living areas.
The rear of the villa offers continual all day long sunshine for those sun worshippers. A swim or dip in the private pool is a most welcome means of keeping cool in the warm and sunny climate.
The garden is planted with shrubs, indigenous plants and a small orange and lemon tree. The villa is abutted on two sides by unspoilt farm land and is therefore mostly not overlooked, with open views to the sea from the garden areas, first floor balcony and first floor windows.
For your further enjoyment the gardens have been furnished with dining furniture and sun beds. Some picnic and beach equipment is available to take onto the beach, where chairs and canopies are available to hire.

Notes on accommodation: Air conditioning is provided in all rooms for added comfort. Sorry smoking is not permitted anywhere inside the villa and no pets are allowed. Only those guests specified on the booking form are permitted to stay at the villa. As the pool is a private pool, there is no lifeguard, so you are responsible for your own safety and for supervising children at all times. You are responsible for your own travel insurance.
Prices are per property per week. Reduced rates over 3 weeks excluding high season.
Conditions
A 20% non refundable deposit is payable at the time of booking (full payment if booking within 6 weeks of the holiday start date), with balance payable not less than 6 weeks of the holiday start date.
A refundable breakages/damages deposit of £250 is required with all bookings refunded after departure subject to inspection.
