This a brand new spacious, second floor, 3 bedroomed apartment directly over looking the pool area. The complex benefits from a large swimming pool and a smaller children's paddling pool. A spacious bathing area with luxury sun beds, giving you sun from dawn till dusk. Other facilities include tennis courts, children's play area and on-site Kiosk selling refreshments throughout the day (Opening soon)
The Great Kings are located in Kapparis, situated on the eastern side of the island. It is the only resort that stays open all year round. Kapparis has two stunning beaches, "Fireman's Cove" which is a 2 minute drive or a 15-20 minute walk from the complex. Although Kapparis is quieter than its neighbouring resorts, guests can still sample the livelier Ayia Napa (15 minutes) or Protaras a 5 minute drive from the complex.

The Famagusta District
Famagusta is a city on the east coast of Cyprus and the capital of the Famagusta District. It is one of the most important, greatly fortified ports on the shores of the Mediterranean. Within this district are the best known Towns of Protaras, Ayia Napa and Kapparis. Protaras offers an abundance of restaurants, shops, local tavernas and traditional folk dancing and open air plays for good family nightlife. Ayai Napa offers world famous night life for the young-at-heart, beautiful beaches and a picturesque harbour. Kapparis is commonly know as the "up and coming" resort offering, many excellent bars and supberb restaurants it is also famous locally for it's fishing.
Cyprus has a fantastic climate, the summers are long, hot and dry stretching from mid April to mid October and the winters mild. On average there are 340 sunny days each year. The island has lovely beaches, beautiful mountains, with lots of historical and cultural places to visit.
October to December is still sunny and the water warm enough for comfortable swimming. At the other extreme, during the winter you can even go skiing high up in the Troodos Mountains.
Kapparis / Paralimnia area
Sunny Coast is perfectly located - whether you like to relax by the pool, hit the beach or go for something more energetic, everything is within easy reach.
Kapparis is an up-and-coming, picturesque area with plenty to offer all tastes. There are many excellent bars, superb restaurants; supermarkets and bakeries. Fantastic beaches within easy reach, Fireman's Cove is really pretty, just down the road from the apartment, Ayia Triada is another favourite close by, or if you really want to explore visit " Fig tree bay " in Protaras and "Nissi bay" in Ayia Napa. Konnos beach is located between the two towns and is known to be the best beach on the Island. Kapparis is great if you want the best of both worlds – lounging by the pool by day but with plenty of nightlife nearby should you want it.
The adjacent resort of Pernera also offers a great choice of restaurants and bars, whilst the lively Protaras, with its wide array of nightlife and award-winning beaches is just a 5 minute drive away.
Ayia Napa has many clubs, pubs and restaurants as well as the famous Nissi Beach, and is a 15 minute drive away.
For a taste of the real Cyprus, you can mix with the locals in the nearby town of Paralimni, with its Cypriot tavernas, delicious local cuisine, wonderful cafes, churches/chapels and numerous shops.
As well as plenty of water sports on almost every beach, there is a host of activities from bungee jumping, diving and horse riding to boat trips and trekking in the Troodos Mountains. There is also a huge water park on the outskirts of Ayia Napa.
With its wealth of history, there are many tours centred on the local Cypriot crafts, historical sites and ruins. You can also take a coach trip to one of the largest markets, in Larnaca. Mini cruises are also on offer if you want to explore ancient Egypt.
You won't be short of things to do here!
How to get there
-Nearest Airport - Larnaca (approximately 40 -45 minutes transfer time). -Car Hire available from www.holidayautos.co.uk or comparison web sites like www.travelsupermarket.com - Low cost airlines operate to Larnaca Airport, book in advance to get the best deal : www.easyjet.com - Taxi services from Larnaca Airport is approximately 45 euros each way, Transfers can be arranged through ourselves and paid locally.
To get the most out of your holiday we would recommend renting a car, given the cost of a one way taxi transfer, this could be the equivalent of one weeks car hire cost and it gives you a chance to explore the island. Larnaca Airport is located next to the main A3 motorway making your journey incredibly easy. The A3 links Larnaca to the east side of the Island, where you will find The Great Kings approximately 10km from Ayia Napa.

Further details indoors: As you enter this apartment, it is spacious and very light. From the main patio doors you have a fantasic view right over looking the pool area; this is lit up in the evening and is really pretty when you are sitting on the balcony.
There is a dining area, which sits 6 people comfortably and the kitchen is fully equipped with utensils, microwave and dishwasher. There is also a break fast bar area with stools.
The living area has a pull out sofa bed, so it is possible to accommodate up to 8 people in this apartment.
There are 3 good sized bedrooms, each having built in wardrobes and air conditioning. The master bedroom has the en-site bathroom with shower, double bed, bedside tables, a dressing table and mirror. There is also access to the back balcony. The second bedroom also has a double bed, with bedside tables, dressing table, stool and mirror. The third bedroom has two single beds, and is brightly decorated with lots of space, would be ideal for the kid's room. Again this has bedside tables and a dressing table, stool and mirror. All rooms have light weight summer quilts and throws for the cooler months.
Further details outdoors: The main focal point of the complex is the large pool area comprising of a large swimming pool and a smaller children's paddling pool. There are sun beds and umbrellas surrounding the terrace area, making it a relaxing place to spend your lazy days.
The apartment enjoys a large balcony, equipped with tables and chairs , over looking the pool area. There is a further balcony off the main master bedroom, were the clothes airer is stored, ideal place to hang wet towels or washing as this balcony gets the sun all day long.
The apartment also has its own designated undercover car parking space which will come in handy if hiring a car. The complex has two tennis courts, a play area for children and an on-site kiosk to purchase refreshments throughout the day (opening soon)
