We are pleased to offer this bright, spacious luxury penthouse apartment. Situated in a peaceful neighbourhood of the increasingly popular area of Kapparis. As the only detached penthouse in this brand new complex it benefits from above average size and a large balcony on either side of the building, one overlooking the landscaped pool area and one facing towards the sea. The local restaurants and amenities are only a 2 minute walk away and the lovely local beach with its crystal clear water is only 5 minutes further. The popular family resort of Proteras with its vast array of bars and restaurants and water sports on the wide sandy beaches (including the famous Fig Tree Bay) is only a 10 minute drive. For those who prefer things a little more lively then Ayia Napa with it's enormous waterpark, stunning Nissi Beach and bustling nightlife is only 15 minutes by car/taxi.

The Famagusta District
The Famagusta district , encompasses Kapparis, Paralimni, Protaras, Cape Greko and many distinct villages. Within this area there is more than enough to see and do to keep you happy for the duration of your stay on the island of Cyprus. The local town of Paralimni is a mixture of the old and the new, boasting a beautiful old town square and church as well as modern department stores and supermarkets. There is also a 24hr bakery that is so much more than just a bakery!!! Just down the road is the family resort of Protaras, benefitting from the best white sandy beeches on the Island. Further down the coast - beyond the National Park of Cape Greko with its fascinating sea caves and turquoise waters - is Ayia Napa, a lively resort known for its nightlife and numerous bars and clubs and also the stunning Nissi Beech. Ayia Napa also boasts one of the largest waterparks in Europe!
Kapparis area
Kapparis is a quiet but up and coming area, perfect for giving you the chance to escape and relax, yet close enough to larger resorts to benefit from all they have to offer. The main road, Kennedy Ave, has a large selection of bars, restaurants and shops and is ideally located very near the coast. The nearest beach to the apartment, Fireman's Beach, is just a seven minute stroll away and has sun loungers and umbrellas for a very reasonable charge, Walk up the coastal path from here and you will probably find a quiet little cove all to yourself! The long white sandy beaches at Proteras, including the famous 'Fig Tree Bay' are only 10min by car/taxi and the hotels along this coastline welcome non-residents at their facilities. A couple of minutes further and you reach the lovely Konnos Bay and the Cape Greko National Park.
How to get there
Direct flights to Cyprus are available from many UK airports. Cyprus has two international airports. The closest is Larnaca being only 65km (40 mins by car/taxi). The other airport is in Paphos which is over two hours away by car but is worth considering as a route in and out of the island as it often has cheaper flights.
Regular scheduled flights to Larnaca are operated by British airways (www.britishairways.com) and Cyprus Airways (www,cyprusairways.com) and Monarch Airways - from Luton Airport - (www.flymonarch.com), Charter flights are also readily available.

Car hire is very reasonable, from £13 a day. Available from www.carrentals.co.uk, which cover Hertz, Europe car and Budget. For a hassle free holiday, why not let us arrange to have you picked up at the airport, day or night (approx £25). You can then hire a car locally as there are numerous hire companies based in Kapparis, Pernera, Protaras and Paralimni. Hiring a car is recommended (at least for some of your stay) so that you can sample all that the Island has to offer.

Further details indoors: Airconditioning/heating units in every room. Well equipped kitchen with hob, iron, microwave, dishwasher, washinh machine, kettle and toaster and opens through door onto large balcony (poolside). The open plan Dining/Living area has a large table with seating for six and a leather sofa (Double sofa bed), leather chair, coffee table, TV and DVD player and opens onto balcony through double patio doors and two single doors. There are two bedrooms, one with double bed and the other with twin single beds. The apartment sleeps a maximum of six using both bedrooms and the sofa bed. The bathroom has bath/pressurised shower over, wc, basin with mirror and shaving socket.
Further details outdoors: The apartment has two large private balconies, facing in different directions and therefore benefitting from lots of sun and shade at different times of the day. The lovely pool is only a few paces away and your own private parking space a mere 3ms from your door.

'Wonderful - just what I needed. This is sooo late in the season but the weather's been wonderful - all day on the beaches and sleeping with the windows open is very soothing. Spent most days on the GLORIOUS Konnos Bay beach and most evenings in FALIROS restaurant just around the corner (the food & service just can't be beaten).
