Vivonne on Sunset is proudly located on the rise of Sunset Way absorbing the rural surrounds and coastline views of the manificent Vivonne Bay. In 2003 , Vivonne Bay was voted 'best beach in australia' with its pristine sand and crystal clear water. Vivonne Bay has the best of both worlds , coast and country, solitude or serenity as well as an abundance of activities for both the young and young at heart , whether its fishing off the beach, on the Vivonne Bay Jetty or for bream in the Harriet river as well as surfing , boating, canoeing, quad-biking , sandboarding , golf or photography to mention only a few. Vivonne Bay is also close to Raptor Domain , Seal Bay , Little Sahara, Kelly Hill Caves and the beautiful Rustic Blue Gallery and Cafe as well as being central to Flinders Chase National Park , Admirals Arch and Remarkable Rocks to the west ,the magnificent Penington and D'Estrees Bay to the east and only approx 50kms to Stokes Bay and its hidden tunnel walk to the rockpools , an absolute must-do with the kids on a southerly wind.

The House ,a uniquely gracious and rustic handcrafted limestone residence, which offers excellent accommodation with its 4 bedrooms and large living area with fireplace, fully equipped kitchen , outdoor setting and under verandah BBQ area with paving. Outside, but attached under the main roof, is the bathroom which consists of shower (in bath), toilet, large vanity area and laundry sink. There is a second upstairs toilet in the main house and an outside beach hot shower in the patio area.

The landscaped lawn surrounding the limestone house is complimented with native plants and is often frequented by the native birds and wallabies

Vivonne Bay also has a general store offering basic groceries , take away food , bait , sand-board hire , beer and wine sales and great coffee.

Vivonne Bay is a perfect place to visit the southern side of the island and only a 45 min drive to the northern side of the island , whether your with the kids or not , Vivonne on Sunset offers something for everyone , we hope you enjoy your stay here ......"we know you will "

"Stunning stay in Vivonne Bay"

Modern, clean, well appointed, spacious and cool. Fond memories of long hot days in the surf and evening drinks on the lawn with the wallabies coming in. Very hospitable owners made us welcome. Would love to return one day and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
