A unique blend of nature, culture and adventure …….
Knuckles range was so named by the British because its highest peaks, seen from the east resemble the knuckles of a fist, This forest is not only important as a rainwater catchment area but is also a unique part of the island's biodiversity heritage. There are a remarkable number of plant & animal species endemic to the Knuckles. The western slopes are largely planted with tea & only the upper parts are now forested. The eastern slopes are botanically more interesting. The bungalow is surrounded by lush tea fields and enjoys a commanding view of the area.
