The Central Province region
This region is predominantly covered in Tea fields and mixed crops such as Pepper, Cardomom, Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Cloves ect:. The mountain tops are forested with indigenous species of plants and Pine forests.
Therefore one would see mountains and valleys covered in these varieties which is green and lush, absolutely pleasing to the eye.
There is a rich diversity of Bird life and the region is very remote and therefore a fantastic retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life.
One may visit some stunning locations such as the Laggala Strict Natural reserve (A part of the Knuckles world heritage site) and the Wasgomuwa National Park on short drives from the Villa.
The area is ideal for biking and trekking with no traffic to contend with and peace and solitude being the essence of your journey.
With such scenic beauty and such seclusion this villa is ideal for Meditation groups and wellness holidays.

"One of the Best Holiday Bungalows ever Visit"
It was an amazing place which is a great location, good facilities and great hospitality.
The food which they provided is brilliant. Services are at it's best by the caretakers.
They were friendly and so much helpful. The place and the view of the bungalow is a unique. we were enjoyed really well and all the people went is so much happy. The cost is reasonable and more than worth the price. Planning to visit again.

This was an exiting trip as I had never traveled to this part of the country where the bungalow is located. The distance was somewhat tiring but only until we saw the bungalow and the nice welcome. We enjoyed the vistas from the bungalow and cold nights were like those in Nuwara Eliya .
We were served with some delicious foods and taken care by the staff very well. A dip in the pool was a supplementary to the day long travel in to the Reverston area of Knuckles mountains.
The staff also arranged a trip to the Gammaduwa Estate where tele-communication towers are located. The journey along the way reminded us how beautiful Sri Lanka is.
Awaiting to return for more

"One of the best places to 'chill' out"
Kuda Oya was unique, especially in January where the surrounding vistas cloaked in mist, gave us a sort of surreal experience..the bungalow is impeccably maintained, so very spacious and even though there were about 20 of us, including kids, one could always find a quiet corner, which was amazing with the hyperactive children..
Kudos to the cook who made a simple Sri Lankan dhal curry, exceptionally tasty..well, everything was tasty, we took too much food and ended up consuming all that..
The staff were very friendly and cheerful. A truly wonderful experience..

"Perfect mountain retreat"
Stayed five days in this gorgeous old plantation villa. Cool mountain air, great Sri Lankan food, wonderful thoughtful and attentive staff, so relaxing I could have stayed a month. Close to the ancient capitals to the north and Kandy to the south, there is no shortage of cultural and tourist sites within an couple of hours, but just walking through the cool forests, tea plantations, villages and cardamom plantings is enough, and it's all local! The view is spectacular, the pool and verandah are perfect venues for quiet rest and reading, and there is always a pot of locally grown tea or a beer if required! A total delight!!

"Great place for families or small groups"
Stayed 2 nights and enjoyed it thoroughly. Excellent place for families with kids and small groups. This place is ideal for anyone not liking large hotels. The accommodation is very clean and comfortable, the staff give you personal attention, great food and super views. We had some good bird sightings in the late afternoon and early morning.Wonderful trekking and cycling paths. For the not so adventurous....its a super place to just chill out with a book on the long sit-out with great views of the mountains. Its also a good place to stay over for a couple of days when travelling between Kandy and Sigiriya.
