"A comfortable well-maintained place"
Our stay at Wycliffe's duplex was really wonderful. The duplex is enclosed in a secure complex with a nice big yard and a verandah to sit and enjoy the sounds of the birds.
The duplex is located in a suburb of Kampala down a dirt road. It is a local area but very safe and secure. It is only a five minute walk from the main road where one can catch a public taxi to go downtown. It is also within walking distance of a supermarket and other amenities.
Since we were working in Kampala and we had long days, coming home to a nice place was a real bonus. We were able to relax fully and recharge for the next day.
The duplex had 3 bedrooms, one big master, a smaller double and another with bunk beds. There are two full bathrooms and one half, a lovely living room and dining area and a decent kitchen. There is wireless internet which is a real bonus and a generator which keeps the downstairs area running during electricity blackouts.
The support staff was most helpful and kind. Both Joseph and Silvia were there to help us with anything we needed.
