'Kalkan Prince Apartment' is situated on the 'Patara Prince Resort' a private 4 star resort nestled on a 60 acre secluded sea front estate minutes from the sophisticated little town of Kalkan. The apartments view speaks for itself as you will see in the photos,as the apartment is on the roof level the views are even more panoramic!
You will enjoy 180 degrees of uninterrupted Sea, Mountains, Kalkan Town/Harbour and beach views and it is the perfect place to start the day where you can eat breakfast on the balcony watching the boats sailing by on their daily trips to and from Kalkan Harbour. Guests will benefit from the use of 4 pools including an adult only pool/infinity pool/main Grand pool and kids & indoor pool, watersports and scuba diving school onsite/tennis courts/sea front restaurants There is also a spa with sauna and gym facilties. Kalkan is situated on the Southern Coast of Turkey in a beautiful bay on the Mediterranean Coast facing Greece. There are some fantastic restaurants [many on rooftops] so you can dine under the stars, they cater for all tastes and budgets using quality locally produced ingredients so you'll never be disappointed and the only problem will be deciding which one to pick! The 'Kalkan Prince Apartment' is furnished simply with a rustic cosy feel. It is comfortable, clean and fully equipped with everything you will need including cooker/washing machine/microwave/satellite tv/dvd/ hairdryer/shaving point/iron & board!.. It is 56m2 & sleeps upto 4 persons, it comprises of living/bedroom, separate twin bedroom/ kitchenette/shower & w.c . There is air conditioning & a ceiling fan to keep the apartment cool,, it comfortably sleeps upto 4 persons, furnished throughout incorporating high wooden ceilings that arch into the roof space giving a nice, spacious feel, the views are certainly one of the best on the resort due to the position of the apartment.
The apartment comprises of a main lounge/bedroom which contains the kingsize bed, a.c. and tv with satellite channels and dvd player with a selection of films and books,there are two sofa chairs in here which can also be used as sofa beds and coffee table and reading lamp. There are two balcony doors leading onto the terrace with magnificent sea views. The balcony has two sun lounger beds and a dining table with 4 chairs for alfresco dining. There is a separate bedroom containing two single beds and ceiling fan for coolness. This room also has a wardrobe, chest of drawers, tv and dvd player with a selection of games and films. The shower/w.c is equipped with shaving point and hairdryer. The kitchenette is on the left handside as you enter the apartment and is compact but fully equipped & comprises of cooker, washing machine, microwave, fridge freezer, crockery and cutlery for 4 persons, iron and ironing board. For self caterers there is a small supermarket which has all your daily needs 20m from the apartment and a market in the town on Thursdays for fresh fruit, vegetables, meat etc, a number of supermarkets in Kalkan will deliver to the apartment door!! The infinity pool and tennis courts are just behind the apartment, the views from here are amazing!

Patara Prince Resort is a 4 star beautiful charming resort with many facilities and offers guests an exclusive feel whilst being minutes from the town of Kalkan
There are 4 pools, including an interior pool,adult pool, and infinity pool/gym/ beaty salon and spa/ clubhouse and tennis courts, 3 restaurants and bars on the resort including a piano bar and watersports. The onsite hotel has reception and internet facilities/wifi is available around the lobby and main pool.
A private shoreline runs along the sea front of the development with sun bathing platforms and steps into the turquoise blue water.In the main season there are a host of watersport facilites and a diving school with instructors.By the waterfront there is an Ottoman style open air relaxation room which provides a cool corner to sit out of the midday heat.There are two balinese style massage tents and a private cabana area for the vip private service. A sauna and Turkish bath are also to be found here along with a mini gym and beauty salon offering massages/facials and many other treatments. At the top of the resort the Infinity pool and child’s pool can be found the views from here are AMAZING the Tennis courts are also positioned here. A volley ball pitch is close to the main pool.
Eating and Drinking
The resort has a number of restaurants. The Patara A la Carte by the sea. The Agora restaurant serving Italian cuisine and the Apollina and Bezirgan restaurants serving Turkish snacks and self-service buffet. Owner members are entitled to a 25% discount. The Patara Bar, Agora bar and Apollonia club bar are also available with live music on different nights of the week during the summer season.
Boat service
This runs from the bathing platforms to Kalkan harbour during the summer season from morning until early evening. There is a small charge for its use. Alternatively taxis can be booked from the Hotel or entrance reception.
Security
The entrance to the resort has a manned security gate. Non residents are not permitted to enter the resort unless invited by owners.
Helicopter Pad
A helicopter pad built to international standards is available at the resort enabling guests to transfer from Dalaman airport is just 30 minutes. We are not however aware of who is operating a regular service at this time.
Shopping
There is a small corner shop near the apartment catering for the basic daily requirements there are larger supermarkets in Kalkan who deliver upon request.

As the apartment is situated within the 4 star 'Patara Prince Resort' our guests benefit from membership facilities including 4 pools, indoor gym, jacuzzi, sauna,tennis courts, volleyball, internet wifi service, restaurants and watersports with diving school onsite. The apartment was gorgeous, cozy and functional and the balcony was amazing for watching the sunset with a glass of wine. The resort is exceptional and the staff are friendly. What with the membership card we received the stay was very reasonably priced and we would absolutly return.

Thankyou so much for the rental of your apartment. Everything in the ad was true - the view was amazing, the position of the apartment next to the shop, the tennis courts and the infinity pool - with another amazing view - was perfect. We had thought the apartment might be a little small for 4 people - parents and two older teenagers - but it was excellent. We had decided to move to a villa for the 2nd week but really regretted it and we ended up walking to the shop every day from the villa and continued to use the infinity pool - the only fresh water swimming pool so more relaxing. We had also thought that being at the top of the resort might be a disadvantage but it only took a few minutes to walk down - mostly in the shade and a really attractive walk - and the bus service up was efficient and we rarely had to wait.
i would thoroughly recommend the resort and the aprtment to anyone with no reservations and we have never had such good value for our money. The Turkish people are incredibly friendly without being pushy. Everyone at the resort was charming and by the end of a week you were saying hello to lots of people. Their English is limited but their friendliness makes up for it. The restaurants were not all open nor was the night club wich was a little disappointing for my 18 year old, but the buffet nights were good. the whole experience was relaxing and the beauty of the place is unmatchable! The booking process was easy and the info absolutely accurate and not exaggerated in any way. Very humid in July so would recommend June or September if you want to see the sights.

We had a fantastic holiday in Kalkan. Loved the place despite it being full of English like us! Thought your place was very good value and the views were wonderful. Had further problems with my back when we were there but a Doctor came to apartment and gave me painkilling injections - had these for three mornings and a nurse came to the apartment each time - great service.
Hillary very helpful, light in kitchen wasnt working and had no hot water - both fixed after contacting her.
Would love to go back again - might have a look to see if we can get cheap flights!!
Thanks for all your help before - made the whole process really easy as we had never not done a package deal before.
Patara Prince was very quiet which was great for us and the pools and gardens were great, May obviously a good time for the flowers which were out in full bloom all over the gardens.

This was our first trip to Turkey and the Kalkan Prince was the ideal hideaway for us, as we always prefer the peaceful existence on holiday. The apartment was well appointed and was ideal for self catering. It had excellent views over the bay and was close enough to Kalkan town centre for evening visits. We would definitely stay here again if returning to Kalkan.

Great holiday, lovely apartment. After staying for years at the Eagles Nest having so many very happy holidays and with its fantastic views I did not believe I could happily stay elsewhere - I am pleased to say I have been proved wrong!
The apartment was all we needed, every facility, clean with a very comfortable bed. Patara Prince resort was a very comfortable place to stay, good mixture of guests and lovely staff.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week in early May in Kalkan. The apartment is perfect for a couple (or couple with small children). The staff in the hotel were fabulous and very friendly. The amenities of the hotel were excellent, although there wasn’t much competition for a spot at the pool early in May! The food in Kalkan in general, including in the hotel, was outstanding. We had one bad meal in our entire stay. I hadn’t known what to expect of Turkish food – but it was really lovely.The booking procedure was easy and straight forward and the apartment was excellent value for money! I will hope to go back again and recommend your apartment to family and friends!

We loved the breathtaking views from the balcony, the cosy atmosphere of the apartment and the really nice architecture, gardens, pools and sea front in Patara Prince. The people were very nice and helpful – especially Hilary but also all the staff of Patara Prince. We also loved to take the Hotel Boat to Kalkan and enjoyed the nice atmosphere and restaurants over there. All in all a very nice holiday and we really think of coming back next summer

Kalkan could perhaps be described as the Mykanos of Turkey. A beautiful resort where you can choose to be as laid back or lively as you prefer. The Kalkan Prince Appt provides an excellent chance to taste the millionaire lifestyle without the hefty pricetag. We would highly recommend it to any like minded couple (possibly with a couple of youngsters). It would also be great for solo travellers as they would particularly benefit from the facilities and security at the Patara.

Resort Feedback - Marvellous pools and gardens, and loved the water taxi and Capatin Dan. Enjoyed watching all the cats and found the shop was well stocked and not over priced, we found the minibus very useful particularly for coming back up from the pool

Our stay at the Prince Patara Resort was simply wonderful. The apartment was spacious and fully equipped, and the grounds were absolutely beautiful. We spent several days just lounging by the beautiful blue sea, swimming in the pool, and relaxing on the balcony. The on-site restaurants served fantastic food and the resort staff were very friendly and helpful. Booking the apartment online was easy and the owner was helpful in arranging transportation to the resort.
