Villa Tulip is a spacious, new, detached four bedroom villa, with spectacular sea and mountain views. It is set in a tranquil location in the hills above Kalkan, yet close enough to the town to enjoy all its amenities, including its many excellent restaurants and fascinating shops. The villa has uninterrupted panoramic views of the Mediterranean with the Taurus mountains as a backdrop. It offers comfortable airy rooms, as well as spacious terraces for outdoor living, together with a sparkling pool set in private gardens. The master bedroom's luxury feature is a jet spa jacuzzi. The main villa has two large double bedrooms and one large twin bedroom, with an additional self-contained penthouse suite above, which sleeps two. The villa is ideal for relaxing and soaking up the sun, and is also an excellent base for exploring some of Turkey's finest historical sites.

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region

Kalkan area
Kalkan is an ideal place to explore the crystal clear waters of the Lycian coast, or the wealth of fascinating sites nearby. The little carpet bazaars, and jewellery and art shops stay open until bedtime. Once the sun has set, the pretty seafront and picturesque streets come alive again, when locals and visitors stroll along to their favourite bar or restaurant ( and there are many excellent ones to choose from) or wander round the tiny shops and houses draped with bougainvillaea that lead down to the harbour. Take an inexpensive dolmus or hire a car and explore the nearby ancient Lycian cities of Xanthos, Patara and Letoon; walk the Sakllikent Gorge or visit Fethiye's colourful market; or book a gulet trip, to experience a wonderful day relaxing, swimming or snorkelling aboard a traditional Turkish sailing craft - with lunch included, it's a treat not to be missed.
How to get there
Villa Tulip is 1 hr 30 mins from Dalaman Airport and 3 hrs from Antalya Airport. Transfers from either airport can be arranged if required - from Dalaman the cost for a vehicle is approximately £50 each way. There is a daily frequent shuttlebus service to the centre of Kalkan from the villa. Car hire (delivered) and taxis are easily arranged.
