About the home

Da Delfina is a stunning duplex apartment, built on a headland next door to the prestigious Kalkan Regency Hotel, it is furnished to a very high standard with taste and elegance and has marble floors throughout. The large terrace ensures access to probably the best views in Kalkan, Harbour, Turquoise Sea, Mysterious Islands and Brooding Mountains.

The large circular pool is so inviting, and guests may spend their time socialising on the large sun terrace, that is equipped with comfy sunbeds and umbrellas. 10 mins easy stroll to the centre of Kalkan and the harbour. Guests receive 20% discount at the Regency Spa. It is under 10 minutes, casual stroll to town. We have just installed a Premier TV package that gives you access to over 100 English speaking channels including Sport (10 premier league matches every weekend) Movies, Cartoons and children's channels at a flick of a switch. The ground floor consists of a large fully equipped kitchen with the amenities you would find at home, including oven, grill and hob, automatic washing machine, dishwasher and a large fridge/freezer and many more small appliances.

The lounge/diner has 2 four seater sofas, one that converts into a double bed, marble side and coffee tables and a round marble dining table and chairs. A flat screen TV DVD and a CD player are provided. Large patio windows open on to the spectacular large private terrace with stunning views.

There is a designer table and 4 chairs for al fresco dining, 2 recliner chairs, 2 umbrellas, and 2 sunbeds. This terrace overlooks the circular pool where you will find other sunbeds and umbrellas. There is also a bathroom with shower. 1st floor consists of two en-suite bedrooms with private balconies. The master suite has a 5ft bed with a 'tempur' mattress, fitted furniture and 2 balconies. Large twin bedded room with fitted furniture, private balcony.

Fully air-conditioned with integrated heating units for Winter lets. All windows are fitted with screens to enable you to sleep with doors and windows open. The apartment has been built and finished to a very high specification, we have experienced no noise pollution when sitting out having breakfast or our evening glass of wine. Everything you need for a relaxing time is included in the apartment, including pool towels and Moulton Brown Shower Gel. Cleaning services are provided twice a week, linen change etc. by Mithit who is on site every day and will help you with local knowledge or any problems you may encounter. Bins emptied and general tidy each day. There is a welcome pack to greet you on arrival. We ask you not to smoke in the apartment, all rooms have balconies or terraces. The apartment has satellite TV and access to WiFi.

The large circular pool is set in a beautiful sun terrace with spectacular views over the ocean and mountains. There are sun beds and umbrellas for all, the 7 owners of the apartments have worked closely to ensure that all co-ordinate and plants have been used to create a relaxing ambiance. Close by there are 2 spa hotels where our guests will get a 20% reduction on all treatments.

Conditions

Changeover day - Monday preferred but every effort will be taken to meet your personal needs. A deposit of £250 is payable within 7 days of booking. Final balance and security deposit payable 10 weeks before departure. Security deposit refunded within 10 days of return.

There are numerous beach clubs in Kalkan with bathing platforms cut into the rock all of which offer various watersports. Scuba, sailing, water skiing, canoeing etc. All beach clubs have excellent facilities for lunch and refreshments. Free taxi service available or free water taxi from the harbour, Kalamar, Mahal, Patara, Palm and Ibo's are very popular. Also Kalkan's white pebble beach along the harbour road where sun loungers and umbrellas are available for hire and numerous cafes and restaurants are very close by.

The Kalkan / Central Kalkan area

Kalkan is a traditional Turkish harbour town which, although having seen growth in recent years, still maintains its distinct personality and charm. Kalkan sits in between the beautiful bay and the Taurus mountains with tranquil villages and trout farms which can provide some relief from the heat in the height of the summer.

Kalkan is brimming with cafes, shops and rooftop restaurants. All situated on narrow streets leading down to the marina. There are plenty of opportunities to browse local arts and crafts, pottery, textiles, jewellery, clothing and leather goods. For the men, if they need a break from shopping, can take their chances with a highly skilled barber and his cut throat razor!

Dalaman is the nearest airport, transfer time approx 90 mins. A £10 visa is required before passing through passport control and must be paid for in sterling. Transfers and car hire can be booked via the owner, however car hire is not essential, as we are only a ten minute easy walk to town.
