The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region
Kalkan is well placed for many attractions. Approximately 1 hours drive is the harbour town of Fethiye, with access to Olu Deniz, Kaya Koy, (the Greek Ghost Town) and the Lycian Tombs. Well worth a visit are the Saklikent gorge and the sunken city of Kekova. The ancient ruins of Xanthos, Letoon, Pinara and Tlos are also nearby.
Kalkan area
Kalkan remains an unspoilt town not subject to mass tourism nor the major tour operators. It has many roof top restaurants offering a high standard of cuisine. There is a small local market every Thursday

Cooker consists of 4 burner gas hob and electric fan oven. Bedroom1 has a balcony with mountain views. Bathroom on this floor features a sunken bath with a shower over bath. Bedroom 2 is upstairs with separate bathroom with jacuzzi and shower attachment. Private roof terrace with stunning views over both Kalkan and Kalamar bays. Extensive use of marble throughout and feature fireplace in living area. Both double bedrooms have fitted wardrobes, bedside cupboards and dressing tables. Pool towels also supplied.
Further details outdoors: Pool approx 7mx4m shared with only 2 other smaller apartments. Good size pool area and attractive garden borders. Padded sun loungers and parasol for sole use of our guests. Private roof terrace also features BBQ, outdoor furniture and parasol. Quiet bar/restaurant nearby.

The apartment was superb both in terms of location and the quality of internal fit out. I would have no hesitation in recommending it amoncst our friends as I know they would not be disappointed.
We have been renting villas and apartments in Kalkan for the last 4 years, sometimes twice a year and have to say that our experience of your apartment was one of the best we've had. Can't fault anything.
