The apartment offers an open plan living/dining room/kitchen area with a comfortable three seater sofa and two chairs, TV & DVD player, IPhone, ipod docking station. A storage cabinet contains TV unit and a selection of DVDs and books which you are free to browse and use. Please feel free to exchange any books if there is anything that grabs your attention.

There are numerous private balconies accessible for the apartment living areas. The largest balcony can be accessed from the living/dining area and is a great place to have breakfast, take in the views and sit in the shade or sunshine. The upstairs terrace offers spectacular views over Kalkan where a pre-dinner drink can set the mood before going out to one of the many fabulous restaurants.
The Turkish style seating area has been a huge favourite with our guests offering the chance to laze away the afternoon, dip in the pool and top up your tan on the various seating areas in the shared gardens and large terrace area.
A non-refundable deposit of £100 is required to secure your booking, with full payment 8 weeks prior to departure.
A Damage Deposit of £100 is required along with your final balance payment. This will be
refunded to you in full within 2 weeks of your return home, provided there are no major breakages/damages to the apartment or its contents other than general wear and tear.
In the event of any maintenance or emergency issues such as electricity/water issues the local agent will deal with these promptly and effectively to your satisfaction. A welcome pack of basic food can be arranged for a small additional fee.
A mid-stay clean and linen change is included during a 2 week stay.

We do not accept parties of young people.

You may access the apartment from 4.00pm onwards on the day of arrival and vacate the apartment by 11.00am on the day of departure. If we do not have a booking on the same day as your departure we would be happy to organise a departure time around your requirments.

Kalkan, historically a small fishing town, is now a peaceful Mediterranean resort on the beautiful Turquoise coast of Turkey which is completely unspoiled by modern commercial tourism. This charming holiday destination has managed to retain a unique atmosphere and has much to offer the modern tourist. If you are looking for somewhere to relax, get away from the hustle and bustle in the UK and simply recharge your batteries this is the place for you.
If you are a fan of water your family/friends could try a Gulet trip which offers the ideal opportunity to get away from it all and explore the many beautiful secluded bays which are not accessible by road. You will be treated to a wonderful day out including lunch, plenty of swimming and snorkling opportunites in the crystal clear waters. Diving, fishing, scuba diving, caneoing and white water rafting can all be booked through our local agent.
If water activities do not entice you why not combine a visit to the fabulous 10mile long Patara Beach with horse riding at sunset.The surrounding area also offers a wealth of history and includes the famous archaeological sites like the Lycian ruins at Patara, Letoon and Xanthos.
Transport is cheap so it is easy to explore, whether by taxi, Dolmus (an air-conditioned public service mini bus)
or water taxi.
Lila Apartments are set back about 100 metres from the Kalamar Road, one of the 2 main thoroughfares in Kalkan and is a short (10 minute) walk into the centre of the village.
The Kalkan area
Throughout the day Kalkan is sleepy and quiet as many visitors choose to relax in the sun, swim or visit one of the historical sights mentioned above. The town is nestled on the hillside with small cobbled streets and alleyways taking you to the many shops, cafes and restaurants which can be discovered during an evening stroll. Kalkan is transformed at sunset when it comes to life with visitors wandering the narrow streets to choose from a seemingly endless choice of restaurants. Many are tucked away down the side streets or on roof terraces where you can enjoy magical views of the town and moonlit bay. Please read our apartment manual for some suggestions of where to eat.
During the day Kalkan has a small pebbled beach but most holidaymakers prefer to take one of the water taxis available at the harbour to one of the many beach clubs. These have been cut into the rocks at the water's edge around Kalkan Bay and offer excellent lunches, drinks and water sports for you to try.
Kalkan is a very special place which has been overlooked by mass tourism and yet it has the ability to have something for everyone and ensure that you want to return again. You will find that the people are open, friendly and wish you to have an unforgettable holiday.

The apartment was everything we wanted, and we will be back. Kalkan is a lovely resort with plenty to do in the area. We want to go back and next time hire a car to get out and about to see all the places we wanted to go to. A great mix of things to do, a day at the apartment, a day at Pataras beach, a day on the pebble beach in Kalkan, a day at a beach club, a day at the shops and a day in the rain! The restaurants are fantastic, rooftop at night is glorious, Ali Baba by taxi rank for cheaper good home cooking was a favourite along with Korsan Meze and many others. The apartment was spacious, clean, well equipped, lovely location. Please be prepared that Kalkan is on a very steep slope and wherever you are there are a lot of hills to walk, for us that is not a problem and we enjoyed the walk into town but for some it may be a little hard, there are plenty of taxis if needed.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lila apartments and will definitely go again next year. The apartment is absolutely stunning with gorgeous views over Kalkan. It is beautifully furnished and extremely comfortable and spacious. It has everything you possibly need on holiday, including a really lovely pool and outdoor seating area and free wifi. It is only a short stroll down into the town and the harbour. The transfer to the apartment went without a hitch and the driver was very helpful and efficient. Kalkan itself is a perfect holiday location with tons of beautiful roof top restaurants and lots of little quirky shops and a great market on a Thursday. Down at the harbour you can catch boat taxis across to the beach clubs or find many all day boat trips available (Sea Bella and Falcon were our favourite). Staying in the apartment felt like home away from home and next year can't come soon enough!

A beautiful apartment in a great location. The pool area is fabulous and a variety of terraces to enjoy the views. Views across the harbour and mountains. A short stroll into the town, where there is everything you need. Lots of exciting trips around.
