About the home

Tulip Apartment has a beautiful location overlooking the clear blue Mediterranean Sea. The Beach Club in Kalamar is about 500 metres away, with a wide variety of watersports and refreshments available there all day. In addition, guests can use the pool of the 3T Hotel which is immediately in front of the apartment, free of charge. The hotel has a terrace bar and restaurant with spectacular views, and the apartment has a large garden and sun terrace.

Tulip Apartment has been furnished to the highest standards. There are seating facilities for up to eight guests with two tables and ample chairs, and the apartment has two bedrooms and three sofa beds. There is a fully furnished kitchen with washing machine.

Guests can make use of the roof terrace of the building in addition to the terraced garden. There are sunbeds and recliners in the garden.

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region

The area is extremely beautiful with sweeping terraces to the sea and mountains behind. Kalamar village is relatively quiet and very picturesque. Average temperatures are in the eighties from June onwards.

There are numerous day trips to take advantage of, as the area has various sites of historical interest. The wider area is known as Lycia and has a variety of monuments, ruins, amphitheatres and interesting remains. Visits to Patara, a magnificent beach to the west, and Kas, a lovely coastal town to the east, are essential. Both can easily be done by local bus.

The Kalkan / Kalamar area

Kalkan is an exceptionally pretty town clustered round a busy harbour. The streets are packed with interesting shops and local colour. There is a pebbly beach, and the local restaurants are plentiful and of very high quality. Boats for private hire can be found in the harbour at reasonable cost.

Kalkan market is held every Thursday with bargains galore, and the nearest supermarket is about five to ten minutes walk on the road to Kalkan.

Fly to Dalaman (90 mins) or Antalya (150 mins) and then hire a car or airport transfers arranged on request.
Flights to Dalaman and Antalya are available from virtually all UK airports with British Airways, Turkish Airlines, Thomsons, cheapflights.com, Travel Republic, Sky Deals and First Choice etc.

Self-drive cars are available to rent in Kalkan itself.
