This luxurious apartment has a floor area larger than some villas, occupying the whole ground floor of a block of nine individual apartments. The Kalkan View is furnished and equipped to the very highest standard throughout to provide a home from home in the sun.
The huge open-plan living/dining area, tastefully furnished in a modern style, leads on to the fully equipped modern kitchen with breakfast area. There are two spacious bedrooms - one double, one twin - both will full en suite facilities, there is also a further guest bathroom with full shower facilities. All bathrooms have recently been upgraded with the master having a marble wet room.
Outside there is a private terrace with table, chairs and parasol and a few steps lead down to the shared pool area with its own spacious sun terrace, furnished with wooden sun-loungers and parasols.
Kalkanview is located in the quiet and exclusive area of Komurluk mid-way between the town of Kalkan and the Club Patara . The town centre is a ten minute walk or alternatively, take a five minute stroll to the new Palm Beach Club and take a water taxi into the village.

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region
Nestling at the foot of the Taurus mountains, Kalkan, once a small fishing town, is now a peaceful Mediterranean resort on the beautiful Turquoise coast of Turkey. Whilst retaining much of its historical charm Kalkan has much to offer the modern tourist whether you are looking for somewhere to laze, meander and recharge your batteries or the excitement of an active holiday.
Diving, fishing, scuba diving, caneoing and white water rafting can all be booked at the Harbour. Or try a Gulet trip which offers the ideal opportunity to get away from it all and explore the many beautiful secluded bays which are not accessible by road. If water sports are not your thing then take to the skies with a tandem paragliding flight.
Kalkan is also an ideal destination from which to explore the surrounding famous archaeological sites, like the Lycian ruins at Patara, Letoon and Xanthos.
Transport is cheap so it is easy to explore, whether by taxi, Dolmus (an air-conditioned public service mini bus) or water taxi.
Kalkan / Komurluk area
Kalkans whitewashed Ottoman houses tumble down the hillside through narrow streets and small cobbled alleyways to the sea. There is a small beach in the town, which sometimes gets crowded but they always seem to be able to find a couple of sunbeds and a parasol for you. However, most holidaymakers prefer to take one of the water taxis to the many beach clubs cut into the rocks at the water's edge around Kalkan Bay at any of which there is a wide choice of water sports available.
Throughout the day Kalkan is a sleepy relaxed place as many visitors choose to relax in the sun, swim or visit one of the historical sights.
As the sun sets Kalkan comes alive and visitors have a seemingly endless choice of restaurants from traditional Turkish to modern and chic. Many tucked away down the narrow streets or on roof terraces affording magical views of the town and moonlit bay.
Kalkan is a very special place blessed by absence of mass tourism and yet having something for everyone. Kalkans beauty is well matched by the genuine warmth of its people who simply want you to enjoy their town as much as they do.

Take a few steps down to the swimming pool and large terrace, where there are ample sunbeds and parasols. There are also a further two WC's and a shower for your convenience.

Conditions
The apartment will be available from 3pm on day of arrival and we would respectfully ask guests to vacate the apartment by 11am on day of departure. We can arrange to have suitcases stored for guests with late flights.

A non-refundable deposit of £100 is required to secure your booking, with full payment 8 weeks prior to departure.
A Damage Deposit of £200 is required along with your final balance payment. This will be
refunded to you in full within 2 weeks of your return home, provided there are no major breakages/damages to the apartment or its contents other than general wear and tear.
The Turkish Government levies a £10 per person charge (incl. infants) for a visa for all
British nationals arriving in Turkey. This is payable at the airport, before passport control,
in £Sterling (Scottish notes are not accepted).

What a wonderful time we had from the arrival at Dalaman, the transfers and the apartment and the location were first class.
