Villa Angora is a homely villa offering all modern comforts, to allow clients to have a restful and relaxing holiday. The position of the villa provides peace, quiet and stunning views, However, in the evening a unique opportunity exists, whereby, a trip to Kalkan itself, (approx 4mins in taxi, 25 minutes on foot, or a boat trip away) provides idyllic evening atmosphere with endless, quality restaurants of varying styles and prices, with most dining being taken under the twinkling night sky. Turkish people add to the ambiance by their friendly dispostion. For the more adventurous there are many day trips to be had.

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region
Kalkan nestles within the heart of the old Lycian region, with it's rich history, and abundance of archaelogical sites, ancient ruins and rock tombs etc. The rocky coastline is magnificent, and a boating paradise. The world-renowned Patara Beach is nearby, with it's 18k of sandy shoreline.
Kalkan / Kisla area
Kisla is a very peaceful area, just on the periphery of Kalkan. (Some say the better part...) Apart from the nearby Beach Club and small Cafe/Shop, Kisla mainly comprises residential villas, but Kalkan itself is only 25 minutes away by foot, 10 minutes by local boat, or 4 minutes by taxi.
In Kalkan, you will find nearly 150 restaurants, many with rooftop terraces, where you can combine fine dining with wonderful views. Within the quaint streets, you can also find trendy boutiques and local craft shops. By night, Kalkan is transformed into a magical wonderland, especially down in the harbour area, with its twinkling lights and dining under the stars. and outdoor bars and restaurants.
How to get there
Most low cost/budget airlines fly to Dalaman, the nearest airport, including Easy Jet, & Thomas Cook. Airport transfers can be booked directly with a recommended Kalkan company, or alternatively we can book on your behalf. Return transfers are approximately £85 for 3 people or less (car) or £125 for 4 or more (Minibus)

Further details indoors: The ground floor comprises a large open-plan lounge and kitchen, tastefully furnished in the lounge area, with sofas, armchairs and satellite tv, with dvd and cd player, plus air-conditioning. The kitchen area comprises a glass-top wrought iron table & 6 chairs, plus gas/electric oven/hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine and dishwasher, plus a full range of kitchen appliances and utencils, and ceiling fan. A separate w/c is also on the ground floor
On the first floor are two bedrooms. The main bedroom, comprising double bed, built-in wardrobes, balcony with stunning views across the bay, plus air-conditioning and en-suite shower room. The second bedroom comprises two single beds, built-in wardrobes, balcony, air-conditioning, plus en-suite shower room.
On the second floor is the roof terrace, again with the wonderful views, leading to the third bedroom, comprising two single beds, a built-in wardrobe, and air-conditioning. This room has a sloping roof however, but does offer full height in the main area, and is an ideal Teenager's room.
Further details outdoors: Villa Angora is fully detached with terraces to the front and side, and a mature colourful garden at the rear.
Double doors from the front of the lounge lead to the main pool terrace, with further double doors at the side opening onto a covered porch/dining area and side terrace with barbeque - also with pool access.
The pool is approximately 10m x 3m, and 1.75m deep throughout, so young children and non-swimmers will need supervision.
The roof-top terrace offers stunning views and wonderful sunbathing opportunities.
Further details
Bookings will normally run from Monday to Monday, but can be revised, subject to availability. A non-refundable 10% deposit at time of booking will secure the reservation, with the balance being paid 6 weeks prior to departure. Cancellation charges: up to 6 weeks prior to departure - loss of deposit. between 6 and 2 weeks - 50%. 2 weeks or less - 100% Clients must make their own flight arrangements and airport transfers, but we can assist with airport transfers, and car hire if requested. Check- in time is from 4 pm, and check-out is 10 am. This can be revised with prior arrangement if circumstances permit.
Conditions
The villa has facilities for 6 persons only, therefore bookings are limited to this number.
The villa will have been thoroughly cleaned prior to arrival, but is not normally cleaned again during your stay. (1 or 2 weeks). However, should you wish an intermediate clean please speak to our caretaker.
For the benefit of future guests, please do not smoke indoors, or sit on interior furniture with lotions/ wet clothes etc.
