You will be staying in one of the most attractive original holiday villas in Kalkan, with a lovely garden, outdoor seating and dining, balconies off each bedroom, and 3 bathrooms including one luxury en-suite, with superb Turkish original furnishings and carpets. The house is a few yards from a pool overlooking the sea, set in charming gardens.There is a large, well appointed Italian kitchen with everything you could need for cooking and entertaining, and four sets of French doors opening on to the garden and back and front terraces, covered in purple bouganvillea. You can walk in 5 minutes to the town centre with beautiful restaurants, cafes, shops and the marina. We have parking should you wish to hire a car to explore the local area with award-winning beaches, and ancient ruins from the civilisations that have inhabited the region.

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region
This coast has many wonderful places of interest and beauty to visit during your holiday. Of the various options you could go horse riding along the huge Patara beach, go canoeing down the Xantos river, explore the many ancient ruins of old Lycian civilisations,or go by Dolmus, thelittle local bus to Fethiye where the shopping is amazing. It is sunny and bright all summer with the clear skies highlighted when you dine on oneof the many roof terraces of the village. A truly lovely sight is seeing the moon over the water and the night sky lit up by stars. For active holiday makers there are many ways to keep fit, or for those who like relaxing around the pool or on a boat trip around the islands it is aperfect place to unwind. Days fly by just doing very little in the beautiful surroundings.
Kalkan area
For music lovers, a trip along the coast to Aspendos is a must in July where in the ancient amphitheatre opera and ballet is staged. For lovers of history there are very many places to visit, all within a short drive. Tour operators are helpful and trips are very easil;y arranged by nearby companies, all who give very fair prices to our customers.
How to get there
Fly to Dalaman with any of the budget airlines that depart frequently from all UK airports. From the airport at Dalaman, Kalkan is an hour and a half away (taxi or hire car can easily be organised), taking you out beyond the package deal crowds of Fethiye and Olu Deniz. Kalkan is such a beautiful place that once visited you will want to return again and again.

Further details indoors: The house is decorated in a tasteful style with high quality rugs and antique fabrics , and artifacts, along with modern fittings in the kitchen and dining room. Each bedroom has a comfotable queen- or king-size bed remote-control air conditioning, and its own balcony.

The villa is for rent for one to two weeks at a time, or for more is desired. A deposit is required to book, (half the rent for the period selected) to secure the villa.The owners are a New Zealand family who use it twice a year, and it is fully equipped with everything you need for a lovely holiday.
Conditions
At the time of booking 2 references are required to secure the property for the holiday period. Any breakages or damage should be paid for, and on arrival an inventory will be signed for the contents. Second bookings will get a 10% DISCOUNT, and 3 week bookings will receive 10% off for the third week. Rental may be paid in £Pounds or Euros.
