The Sun Elite 2 is one of five newly completed luxury apartments in a small complex sharing a large swimming pool with views over Kalkan bay and the backdrop of the Taurus mountains. The duplex apartment is arranged over two floors and is modern and spacious offering everything you need for a relaxing holiday.
Patio doors lead from the lounge onto a small front terrace and also a more private shaded side terrace, an ideal place in the evening for a gin and tonic while watching the sun go down . There are steps leading down to the pool area with beautifully planted areas, sunbathing terraces, wooden sunbeds and parasols and a poolside bar area with seating.
This luxury apartment is situated close to supermarkets, shops, bars and restaurants and is a 10 min stroll down to kalkan harbour, whilst the taxi and dolmus point is only 5 mins away and the weekly market is sited just across the road. There is a meet and greet service offered to our clients on arrival, 24 hour security and english speaking staff.

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region
Kalkan is ideally situated along the lycian coast as a point from which to explore the wealth of history which the area offers including the sites of Xanthos and Letoon .
It is in close proximity to visit Patara beach , the largest in Turkey and part of the national park and protected turtle reserve, a beautiful 12km stretch of sand backed dunes. Kapatus beach is only 4km away and of course kalkan harbour has its own beach.
Other places of interest nearby include Saklikent gorge, Kekova (the sunken city) and the small town of Kas to mention just a few.
Kalkan area
Kalkan was originally a small fishing village nestling at the bottom of the Taurus mountains in a horse shoe shaped bay.Today it is a sophisticated resort with narrow cobbled streets and white washed houses having lost none of its character and charm which brings visitors back year after year.
Kalkan has several beach clubs which can be visited by free water taxi or taxi and where watersports are available as well as sunbathing terraces, sunbeds, food and beverages. There is also a scuba diving centre in Kalkan. You could also rent a boat from the harbour with a captain, for swimming and a BBQ and try your hand at fishing for mackerel!
Evenings in Kalkan see streets bustling with life, there are a profusion of restaurants offering an extensive choice of cuisine to suit every taste and pocket, the pretty roof terrace restaurants are an excellent place to enjoy dinner whilst watching the sun set over the bay.
There are many shops selling a wide variety of merchandise from carpets and Kilms, glassware, spices, jewellery "designer labels " and of course turkish delight!

Kalkan is situated approximately 1.5 hours from Dalaman airport and 3 hours from Antalya airport. Airport transfers can be arranged for you upon request.

Further details indoors: The apartment comprises a large spacious downstairs area with a fantastic fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, dining area with wooden table and upholstered chairs and lounge with two sofas and patio doors opening on to the front terrace.
There is also a downstairs cloakroom with toilet and wash basin and mirror. Both bedrooms are on the second floor and are both en-suite and fully airconditoned, each have a small balcony overlooking the pool and Kalkan bay. Windows are fitted with mosquito mesh. Hairdryers are provided. A fifth put up bed is available on request
Further details outdoors: You are afforded a private entrance to your apartment up just a few steps and your own front and side terraces with wrought iron and cushioned seating. The pool area is landscaped and the walls are adorned with trailing bourganvillia. There is a beautiful large pool with a jacuzzi and plenty of sunbeds and parasols. There is also an outside poolside bar with fridge and seating.

The swimming pool is available from May onwards.
A full weekly cleaning and linen/towel change is incuded. Extra cleaning/linen change can be arranged at an additional charge.
Grocery packs are available on request.
There is a meet and greet service provided and english speaking staff on site.
Change over day is Monday
Conditions
A 25% non-refundable deposit will be required to confirm your booking with the final balance payable 8 weeks prior to departure.
A refundable £150.00 breakages deposit is also required and will be refunded after confirmation from our agents on your return.
The apartment is non smoking for those who do smoke ashtrays are provided on the terraces.
