Summer Breeze is well situated in the centre of Kalkan. A 2 min walk to all the amenitıes and a 5min stroll to the start of the old town. Ground floor apart is by the pool and terrace a lovely setting with a private and relaxing feel comfortabe sunbeds,umbrellas and relaxed seating area perfect for alfresco dining,sundowners or a good book! There is a pretty garden to relax in and a large bbq. We are situated by the beautiful mosque and by the weekly local pazar where arts and crafts as well as t shirts,jewellery and fresh fruıt and veg . The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region
Kalkan is an old fishing village set at the foot of the Taurus mountains in the heart of the Lycian trail. İt was discovered by the yachts in the 60,s and has flourished since then. İn the south west of Turkey it enjoys a good climate with short winters and hot summers. Beautıful for walking adn sightseeing in Spring and Autumn and the summer months for beaches watersports etc etc. Kalkan is well situated to visit many local cultural areas of interest. Saklikent Gorge, Patara beach,Letoon,Xanthos,Tlos,Kaş to name but a few.
Kalkan area
Kalkan has grown over the last few years but the old town still retains its charm. A few bouganvillia lined cobbled streets sloping down to the small pebble beach and harbour with its mix of yachts and traditıonal wooden gulets. There are many very good restaurants in Kalkan most with rooftop terraces with vıews over the bay. There are beach clubs that all offer free transport with restaurants,swimming platforms and watersports. Day or evening boat trips are a must and you can even charter a private boat for a day or a few days to explore the area. Kekova the sunken Lycian city is nearby a perfect boat trip. Villiages up in the mountains can be visited there are a few fresh trout restaurants and you can get a glimpse of village life.
