Hallway leading to open plan kitchen / dining area and living area with marble floor. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge/freezer, cooker and washing machine. There is a dining table and chairs and two double French windows leading onto the extensive patio and al fresco dining area. The lounge has a sofa bed and 2 chairs and an open fireplace. There is a double bedroom on this floor with 2 double French windows onto the patio and pool area with a shower room / WC adjacent.

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region
Kalkan is a cobbled fishing village with a beautiful harbour and many restaurants and roof top terraces. The people of Kalkan are friendly and helpful and love children.
Set on the Mediterranean on the Turkish Riviera known as the Lycian region. Kalkan is unspoilt, charming and sophisticated.
Less than half an hour by car from Patara beach -the largest unspoilt beach on the Mediterranean. Watersports, diving and fishing are popular past times. Within easy reach of the town of Kas and with a weekly market in Kalkan.
There are magnificent Ancient Lycian historical sites to visit including the ancient cities of Xanthos Tlos and Patara.

This is a lovely Villa set among olive trees and with outstanding views of Kalkan & the Surounding hills. It is very cool & comfortable inside with 3 good double bedrooms,2 with delightful balconies. The pool is clean & large enough for a "good swim". We were able to find sun & shade & very much enjoyed the hammock under the trees.The outdoor eating area with the BBQ are very useful & attractive under the bougainvillea. A really lovely place to spend a holiday in Kalkan! |

Really lovely comfortable villa. Very peaceful location although it is only a pleasant downhill 15 minute walk into town. Taxis are not expensive for coming back. Just say it is behind the green school and they will know where it is. The pool area is wonderful , comfortable loungers and plenty of shade if required. The upstairs terrace is amazing for sipping a nice gin and tonic watching the sun go down over the harbour. Views are incredible. Plenty of cutlery, plates and lovely decoration. Air con works well. En suite fittings are good quality and the area spacious. The villa is cleaned most days and the pool is cleaned every day. Wonderful! Booked for 2012! |
