The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region
Kalkan is a cobbled fishing village with a beautiful harbour and many restaurants and roof top terraces. The people of Kalkan are friendly and helpful and love children. Set on the Mediterranean on the Turkish Riviera known as the Lycian region. Kalkan is unspoilt, charming and sophisticated.
Less than half an hour by car from Patara beach -the largest unspoilt beach on the Mediterranean. Watersports, diving and fishing are popular past times. Within easy reach of the town of Kas and with a weekly market in Kalkan.
There are magnificent Ancient Lycian historical sites to visit including the ancient cities of Xanthos Tlos and Patara.

Aug 08 - "Just a note following our fantastic holiday to say thank you for letting us use your wonderful villa. We had a really fabulous time. The villa itself is beautiful and very comfortable, and the pool just marvellous. The view is spectacular! (and how lucky you are to have the olive grove in front of the villa rather than buildings). We were very happy there. So happy in fact that we barely moved from around the pool except to go out for dinner (and didn't even do that on a couple of nights "
