The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region
Steeped in history this dramatic region provides something for all tastes. Kalkan enjoys some of the best weather in Turkey with over 300 days of sunshine per year. Historical areas are abundant in the region that also feautures the ancient ruins of Patara with its 18km long sandy beach. Guide books listing all the highlights of the region are provided. The Lycian Way walking trail crosses through the area. A guide book for the walk is also provided.
Kalkan / Patara Prince Resort area
Kalkan is seen as a more upmarket option than other Turkish resort towns. It still retains its charm, and due to the steep topography of the area, has not suffered mass expansion. The many restaurants in town offer wonderful cuisine that can be followed by a walk through the cobbled streets for some shopping. Nearby attractions include Patara Beach, Kaputas Beach and many historical sites.

Further details outdoors: The resort feautures three restaurants specializing in fresh Mediterranean cuisine with especially delicious seafood. The Agora restaurant serves a range of Italian dishes. There is also a Patisserie on site that serves freshly baked treats. There are three outdoor pools in the resort with one allowing access to over sixteens only and another has a small water slide. There is an indoor pool with fitness centre and sauna also feauturing hair and nail care facilities. Also available onsite are tennis courts, kids club and 200m private seafront with bathing platforms. Scuba diving and other watersports are offered from the private sea front.

A brilliant apartment in a fantastic resort; away from the touristy crowds, Patara Prince Resort is a beautiful place to relax and unwind, with the charming fishing village of Kalkan a quick ferry or cab ride away. We would rate our time at Patara Prince as one of the best holiday experiences we have had in a long time. The apartment is tastefully decorated and fitted with everything you will need for a comfortable stay. The resort caterers for every whim, from fine dining to adventure sports. With the magnificent sea views and great relaxing atmosphere we were reluctant to even leave the resort and go exploring the many local attractions. We have been to Patara Prince several times and yours is one of the nicest apartments we have stayed in. It's well placed for the shop and tennis courts, as well as a short walk from the pools and platforms. Inside it is very tastefully decorated and well equipped with everything you could need.
