Villa Haziran is a luxury 3 bedroom villa (finished in March 2007). Situated in the picturesque Kalamar Bay, to the West of Kalkan, it is built on the hillside with stunning views across the bay to Mouse and Snake islands. Ali will meet and greet you at Villa Haziran and look after the pool and garden during your stay. He is a great source of local knowledge. A welcome pack is provided for your arrival including a much needed bottle of wine, tea, coffee, milk, OJ, fresh bread, butter and jam.
The master bedroom features a super king size bed, a lovely wooden balcony with comfy chairs and uninterrupted views of the pool and across the whole of Kalamar Bay. The second bedroom has twin beds, (can be joined to form a super kingsize bed) the third bedroom has a kingsize bed and a kingsize mattress in the 'Kosk area' for children, all the bedrooms benefit from having en-suite bathrooms. Ideal for families and couples, enjoy the sunset from the comfortable seating area by the pool. Cook up a BBQ and eat in the outside dining room under a large pergola; overlooking the floodlit pool with lovely views across the bay, its the perfect setting for al fresco dining! The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region

Kalkan / Kalamar Bay area
Kalkan is a small fishing port on The Turquoise Coast in South West Turkey. It is slotted between the folds of the Taurus Mountains behind and the glistening Mediterranean to the front. Now a sophisticated village more suited to those appreciating the good things in life.
There are higgledy-piggledy little streets and alleyways that run down to the harbour, traffic free, with Art Galleries, Kilim Stores, an array of Curio and Antique Shops and fashion boutiques. Lovely old balconied houses covered in Bougainvillea dotted around, many of these now converted into Boutique hotels. Every Thursday there is a very good open market selling a fabulous array of herbs and spices, fresh fruit and vegetables. Try one of the spinach and cheese pancakes or a Borek.
The picturesque harbour is full of local fishing boats and Gullets, these are the beautiful romantic wooden yachts that transport you to a world of hidden sandy coves and quiet little turquoise bays to have a gentle swim followed by a delicious simple Turkish lunch on board with local wine.
The Kalamar Bay beach club is a 5 minute walk from the Villa (all downhill!). Here you will find sun beds, parasols, pedalos, canoes, a huge water-trampoline and a lovely restaurant.

All the floors, inside and out of Villa Haziran are Marble/Travertine. In all the bedrooms there is, air conditioning, deluxe Memory- foam mattresses, and anti-mosquito door screens for your extra comfort. There is also a Turkish style sleeping area for children in the second floor bedroom (with kingsize mattress).In the fully equipped kitchen there is a large double -door American style fridge/freezer, providing water and ice on tap!! To save on luggage, we have provided powerfull hairdryers, pool towels and Turkish bath (beach) wraps. Please do NOT lose them. (£50 fine!) As far as we know, Villa Haziran is the only villa to provide all these facilities. There is a 'Lap Top' sized safe on the property. Flat screen Plasma TVs are provided in the sitting room (surround sound) and the master bedroom.A small selection of DVDs and CDs are provided as well as a small library of books (please feel to take and leave holiday reading books). You may wish to bring your own selection of DVDs and CDs. There is an ipod,MP3 and MP4 Docking station with speakers at the villa with appropriate attachments so that you can play your own music! There is also a Stereo cable attached to the back of both the SUNNY surround sound system downstairs, and the back of the DVD player in the master bedroom to enable you to use your ipods and MP3 players.
Further details outdoors: The outside dining room ,which seats approx. 12 is under a large pergola, which provides some lovely cool shade from the midday sun, it overlooks the infinity pool and has uninterrupted views across the bay towards Mouse and Snake Islands.

We shall require a non-returnable booking deposit of 25% of the total cost of the accommodation and the outstanding balance to be paid 8 weeks before the first day of your holiday. If, in the unlikely event of a cancellation, you prefer not to use the holiday cancellation insurance, deposits can be used to secure a future booking. We also require a £200 breakage and damage cheque(which will be returned within 2 weeks of the end of your stay)
Conditions
Please be aware that due to the hilly nature of the area, there are a lot of steps and therefore the villa may not be suitable for the elderley or infirm. Also,please be reminded to watch children at ALL times, especially round the pool and near steps and balconies, they should NEVER be left unattended. There is a NO SMOKING policy inside the villa.

The villa is absolutely wonderful, so comfortable, well equipped, with the most stunning views, and beautiful plants. The touches that you have added such as the outside seating make such a difference, we didn't sit inside at all. The beds are so comfortable, which makes a lovely change for rented properties, and the bathrooms are lovely. We could see from other villas that they were very sparsely furnished, with little shade provided, and we all felt really lucky that we had chosen Villa Harizan, swimming in that pool with that view was wonderful! Staying at Villa Haziran is a very special experience, and it was even better than it looks on the website! Karen Fleck & family 20th July-3rd Aug.
