The position of this house and its timeless beauty, inside and out, together with its setting, are unequalled in Kalkan. It is set in a mature cascade of gardens at the edge of the sea in the best location in Kalkan Bay.
You have direct sea access from the seafront bathing platforms, exclusively available for the use of residents of this perfect location .
On the hottest days, cool seclusion is provided by mature trees, bourgainvillea vines and deep verandahs. Uniquely within this exclusive estate, this most beautiful of villas has its own private swimming pool and gardens. Framed by an uninterrupted panoramic view of the bay, the mountains and, at night, the amphitheatre of shimmering lights of Kalkan town which turn the blue waters of the bay into a tapestry of colour.
The unique tower terrace of this house is a landmark feature from which stunning sunset views are unforgetable.
The total of 5 double bedrooms and bathrooms are set out perfectly for comfortable living. The main house has 3 air conditioned double bedrooms , each with its ensuite bathroom. Attached to the main house is a separate garden villa with 2 bedrooms and bathrooms and its own living room, terrace and kitchen – private and secluded from the main house by design, yet not apart from it. The huge living rooms on each of the three levels of the main house are tastefully furnished to suit a variety of moods and requirements – grand dining to informal lounging in the Turkish dens. All living rooms open out to the spectacular views or shaded garden terraces, for comfortable and private outdoor living.
But you will be drawn constantly to the sea. To be so close, and so easily accessible just by strolling through lush garden paths and steps leading to the sea, will make your holiday just perfect.

Review from Pat and Bucker Dangor, 2012.
" A holiday in paradise: elegant, spacious, comfortable villa set in secluded, luscious garden of Eden with private, discrete, refreshing pool. We could easily walk down to the hotel resort for off-the-rock swimming in buoyant seas, large freshwater and seawater pools for adults and separate pool for children, and spa; Unforgettable....anxiously anticipating next visit. The two villas offer privacy and yet intimacy, whichever you choose. Polished, gleaming wooden floors are complemented by warm, natural stone walls. The garden floor in the main villa even has part of the rocks of the adjacent mountainside incorporated into the living room ! The rooms in the main villa are very large and airy with thick walls conducive to keeping the rooms cool. Aside from the washing machine in the villa, there is the use of a laundry room below, with washing machine, tumble dryer and ironing facilities.

The Turkish Mediterranean Coast region
The Lycian coast of Turkey is aptly named the Turquoise coast with exquisite, clear blue sea water. Below the Resort , the sea is fed by springs, resulting in the cleanest and purest sea water in the Mediterranean. Although the Kalkan coast is dramatic and rocky, Patara beach, voted by The Sunday Times as one of the most beautiful and unspoilt beaches in the Mediterranean, has 18 km of white sand and is approx a 15 mins drive. Kapatus is a sandy beach approx 10 mins drive away. Kalkan's climate is considered to be the best in Turkey with 300 days sunshine every year and very low humidity.
Kalkan is on the route of the Lycian Way, which offers walkers stunning scenery and many archaelogical sites on its route. There are many ancient sites within easy reach of Kalkan including Xanthos, Pinara, Tlos and Patara. Further afield are the well known sites of Olympus, Kekova, Myra and Ephesus.
The enchanting historic town of Kalkan was once a small fishing village. Today it still retains its charm in spite of increasing sophistication due to its popularity with international visitors. The winding, cobbled streets teem with life at night to the accompanyment of jazz and blues music wafting from bars and restaurants.
Kalkan boasts more than a hundred fine restaurants , many set at roof top level, offering excellent Turkish and European cuisine at reasonable prices. There are several good quality food shops including supermarkets, a local market, boutiques selling everything from bikinis to pashminas, and all essential daily needs are well catered for.
A range of outdoor activities are available from Kalkan including diving, snorkelling, canoeing, water skiing, sailing, para gliding and windsurfing. Regular boat trips from Kalkan harbour explore the area and beautiful coastline, including the well known gulet cruises.
Spend an unforgettable day on a boat or gulet, cruising the crystal clear waters, soaking up endless hours of blissful sunshine whilst dining on a superb lunch cooked specially for your party by your skipper/chef.
The Resort is nestled on a 60 acre secluded sea front estate along the Kalkan bay. It has beautiful landscaped gardens and wonderful facilities which include 4 pools, windsurfing, water skiing, snorkelling, scuba diving, Turkish bath, spa, indoor pool and gym, tennis courts, volley ball, snooker/pool table, table tennis, sun beds, and platforms right on the edge of the water for sunbathing and relaxing. In addition, there are bars, including a piano bar in peak season, and three very good restaurants. Essential supplies can be bought at a small supermarket in the resort. A regular shuttle boat between the resort and Kalkan harbour offers a more glamorous way to do your shopping and there is a shuttle minibus running through the resort , as cars are offloaded and then parked outside the main gates of the complex. Some of the facilities are not available outside the peak tourist season which runs from May to October.

"Great villa and surroundings, wonderful holiday."
We had a wonderful stay with friends at this villa. Charming, well equipped holiday home with total privacy if you rent both villas together. Would prove a little tricky for the elderly due to the stairs and those with small children as the pool is not gated. Overall, we will definitely return.
