About the home
Simzer is furnished in an eclectic style with a mixture of quality furniture from England and bespoke pieces made locally to our designs.No expense was spared in kitting her out as she is run as a luxury family home with designer bed linen,a fully equipped kitchen,games tables and toys and gadgets. We believe cast iron should be limited to gates and fences whilst beds and sofas should do seperate jobs for optimum comfort.
We operate a sharing system by filling all the cupboards at the start of the season and inviting guests to use/replace items as they do in their own homes which means there are always plenty of fresh items for adding to those wonderful fresh local products.

The games room has been named "club Simzer" by my children as when they are entertaining friends they rarely emerge much before dawn as there is good soundproofing so no noise nuisance. We offer games and toys for all ages and types from tiny people who like soft toys and Thomas Duplo to those who like board games or our totally mad WI Beatles Rock Band and other equally strange games.

Simzer enjoys a larger than average infinity swimming pool with Roman Steps and graduated depth with a small "baby" pool integral to it. There is a large terrace and safety features including locking doors and gates on all sides of the pool to keep small people safe and also a large "CHILD CATCHER" at the end of the infinity pool just below the eye line. There is a good sized garden with many flowering plants,fruit trees, antiques, an enormous red rock that was deposited by a JCB as it weight over 50 tons, old pots and the most extrordinary genus of grass that does not need mowing.

There is a Toyota Rav 4 vehicle with luxury full option interiour and child seats available for hire at a reasonable rate to those guests who fear for their lives in the usual "tin cans".
Our Management team is second to none and will do your every bidding with good grace at efficiency at any time day or night. You can have fresh bread delivered every morning and your shopping sorted out if you wish.
Simzer is accessed by just the one step up from her private driveway which is a rarity in Kalkan!
Conditions
Simzer welcome discerning guests who will treat her with reasonable respect as they would their own home.
Our aim is to provide a relaxing holiday with everything any age group could wish for and we especially cater for amusing offspring of all ages so that tired parents can enjoy boy play and leisure time with and without the younger members of the party. Safety is paramount. Although there is plenty of room at Simzer it is rare we invite any more than 10 people to use her at one time though we have made exceptions.
We do not accept large same sex parties and all larger parties must include someone of a minimum age of 25years.

Share videoThe Turquoise Coast/Lycia region
The Turquoise coast boasts some of the longest, most beautiful beaches on the Mediterannean coast and one of thes is Patara Beach which is twenty minutes distance from Kalkan. There are many ancient Roman artefacts in the region to the extent that it is had to miss them. The Lycian walks, turtle beaches, under sea ruins etc. are plentiful. It is great for divers and those interested in culturan history as there is so much varied history within the area that these places are never over crowded.
Kalkan enjoys good weather from early April until mid November and is never seriously cold though between November and March there can be heavy storms at times and during July and August it gets hotter than most English people are used to which is a great excuse to get out on the boats.
The Kalkan area
Kalkan has a beautiful harbour full of varying sizes of boat that take passengers out on day trips around the bay areas and small Islands, stopping for mineral mud baths, cave examination and swimming. One can fish from most of them and have the freshly caught fish served up as part of their fabulous lunches. It is an extremely reasonable day out and everyone seems to enjoy themselves. There are diving boats and trips available, beach clubs with all the usual and a plethero of wonderful restaurants and inviting little shops to wander around. Local markets are held on various days of the week but there are two in Kalkan every week with the freshest produce imaginable.

All the main charter planes and Easy Jet fly into Dalaman during high season and there are always flights of some sort throughout the year. I can advise further if required. If you require a transfer direct from the airport to Simzer I can easily arrange that and or suggest good car hire and provide comprehensive directions.

Villa Simzer met all of our expectations, and more. It is extremely well equipped for a fun family holiday in beautiful Kalkan. We are two families totaling 5 children, youngest being 9 oldest 19, and I can honestly we all had a wonderful time. Nothing was too much trouble for the owner, and her management team. We would thoroughly recommend Simzer, and look forward to visiting again soon! |

We hired this Villa in November and were somewhat nervous about whether the weather would be kind to us at that time of year... Arriving at the Villa late after a night flight, we were genuinely overjoyed to realise the Villa was everything and more than advertised. It had been fitted out with all mod-cons and felt more like someone's home rather than a soulless holiday letting (as so often experienced on other holidays). We had 6/7 days of sunshine - and spent the days relaxing by the pool and at the beach and the evenings spent enjoying long BBQ's and suppers, followed by games of pool and table tennis in the games room! The one day the sun struggled to come out we also took advantage of the Wii and the DVD collection. All in all - we had an epic week at Simzer and Kalkan. We were a group of friends from London looking for a relaxing yet fun week away from a cold English winter. However I would equally recommend this Villa for a family holiday too. |

Villa Simzer is the perfect place for a sunny get-a-way with family and friends, beautiful interiors, all the mod cons you need, amazing sea views with gorgeous infinity pool and only a short walk from all the restaurants and bars that Kalkan has to offer, what's not to love? |

There is a 25% booking fee to secure holiday dates with the remainder due eight weeks before the start date selected. The weeks of peak season are always charged as shown but allowances are made on occasions for Honeymoon couples, very small groups or out of season late bookings. Early season repeat bookings will be kept at the previous years prices up until the end of that calendar year. I am always happy to discuss any special circumstances that arrise.
