About the home

Front line pool facing apartment with panoramic views across the olive groves to the sea,and Snake/Mouse Islands plus pool views from the lounge. Modern, ground floor, one bedroom apartment with a choice of pools. Spacious 13' balcony, seats for sunbathing and dining. Air-conditioned and fully equipped kitchen.

Beautifully maintained gardens with bougainvillea and palm trees. All five shared pools are cleaned daily and vary in size. Sunbeds, mattresses are supplied for the sole use of the apartment.
The apartment is very popular due to its excellent quiet but central location, Just a three minute walk to the main streets, shops and restaurants, harbour, town beach and beach clubs. This is an ideal spot for those guests who want to be near everything. The apartment is NOT located at the top of a hill! NO CAR HIRE OR TAXIS REQUIRED.

Bathroom: Full size bath with overhead monsoon shower and hair wash shower, WC, wash hand basin. Mosquito net over window.

Kitchen: Fridge/freezer, electric hob, electric oven and grill, toaster & kettle. Washing machine. Extensive supply of crockery and cutlery.

Living Room: Lounge has a sofa, 2 armchairs, coffee tables, DVD[CD Player (some DVD's but feel free to bring your own) Ipod docking station, books. Air-conditioning and mosquito nets to window. There is also a door to “Juliet” balcony overlooking the main pool.

Ideal location, very central apartment just a few minutes to supermarket, bank, post office and restaurants. Apartment Seema is very popular due to being a short, easy walk to the old town, harbour and beach, TAXI & CAR HIRE NOT REQUIRED.

There are also several excellent beach clubs in the local area. Patara beach, a world heritage site famous for its 18km of white sand and clear water is 25 mins away by car/dolmus (bus)

20 mins to Kas and approximately 1 hour to Fethiyre by taxi.

Yes it's true, this close to the village, but sooo quite and secluded,ideal.

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region

Oh and did we mention that you get really good value for money, Turkey not only provides super beach and activity holidays but also a wealth of archeological sites from the Lycians to Byzantine Roman and Greek ruins,and the famous sunken city of Kekova and the city of Ephesus. are all within easy travel distance from Kalkan.

Kalkan is a historic town situated on Turkeys gorgeous Lycian Turquoise Coast once a sleepy fishing village Kalkan today is quietly sophisticated yet is still extremely picture postcard pretty With a multitude of upmaket restaurants with rooftop views over the small habour and Snake Mouse Islands it has become known as The Beverly Hills of the Eastern Mediterranean Kalkan sits under the spectacular backdrop of the Taurus mountains and gazes out to sea over the bay to the endless shimmering turquoise waters of the Eastern Mediterranean It is within easy reach of Myra Pinara, Tlos Xanthos, Letoon ,Patara the Saklikent Gorge, and Kekova .

You travel to Kalkan via either Dalaman or Antalya airports and then by private airconditioned transfer. When you are in Kalkan you can spend the day on the pebble beach, sit by the pool or visit the beach club. If however you are feeling energetic you can arrange a jeep safari a boat trip on one of Turkeys famous Gulets go diving or fishing perhaps trekking sailing or paragliding You could of course spend the day at one of the 2 Turkish baths or visit one of the many Turkish Barbers or just go shopping in one of the Old Towns many shops.

Sit and have a drink in the habour and watch the boats come in. Spend the evening eating and drinking in one of the many super restaurants or cafes There are variety of bars some having blues jazz or belly dancing. You could of course arrange a moonlight boat trip with dinner on board

The Kalkan / Central Kalkan area

The Old Town is a gentle 7 minute walk. Visits to local sites of interest, or activities out of town, as well as trips to other destinations on the coast, can be arranged by any of the agencies in the village..

The bank, cash machine, post office (open till midnight), taxi and dolmus (mini-bus) ranks are a 4 minute walk. Basically everything you may need is between 5 & 10 minutes walking at a slow pace. The apartment is provided with an information book, giving you all relevant local information, recommended places to visit, to eat, general information, emergency phone and contact numbers etc.

It is worth noting that you can change money or make phone calls at the Post Office till midnight, and most restaurants will provide you with free internet access There is also an internet cafe which like the shops is open till late.

Nearest airports are Dalaman and Antalya. Dalaman is serviced by Easyjet and most charter airlines. Kalkan is approx 1hr 30min from Dalaman and 2hrs from Antalya. There are numerouse car hire companies at both airports,or transfers can be arranged by the owner.
