Apartment Gigi is an impressive apartment with the real ambience of a villa once inside. This beautiful spacious apartment makes guests immediately feel relaxed with its mature surroundings and quiet location. The large pool is shared by only three other apartments. In the vicinity there are a few boutique hotels and restaurants whilst being a short distance from all the wonderful restaurants Kalkan has to offer.
The large master bedroom is airy and has wonderful views across the bay, great to wake up to in the mornings. Just pull back the curtains and enjoy! The second bedroom, twinbedded, also en suite has great views of the Taurus mountains and overlooks the pool.

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region
Kalkan is about one and half hours from Dalaman Airport and around three hours drive from Antalya. The pretty town of Kas is twenty minutes away and Fethiye is around one hour. Patara beach, an 18km stretch of unspoilt sands where the loggerhead turtles hatch their young is about 15 minutes drive away. There are many local villages within easy reach of Kalkan - also the famous tourists spots such as the Saklikent Gorge, Kaya (Greek Ghost town), Kekova; Xantos; Letoon; Pinara and Tlos. These excursions can be booked in Kalkan.
Kalkan / Kalamar Bay area
Kalkan's pebble beach is close to the town harbour. Kaputas beach is a secluded sandy cove located on the road to Kas, about fifteen minutes by car or Dolmus. This is a beautiful drive around the coast. There are numerous beach clubs around Kalkan with sun bathing platforms and direct access to the turquoise sea. All the beach clubs offer refreshments, ideal for those lazy afternoon lunches. The Kalamar Beach Club is located close to the apartment and will pick up and return guests to the apartment. Kalkan is special, with its quiet sophistication, beautiful surrounds and wonderful restaurants. It is a place where the people are friendly and helpful without being intrusive, guaranteeing you a wonderful stay. Kalkan is unique with many restaurants situated on roof terraces allowing you to enjoy incredible night views as you delight in the excellent high standard of food served throughout. The menus offer both exceptional traditional Turkish food and European dishes. There are various supermarkets, two banks, a post office and telephone shops for making inexpensive calls back home. On Thursdays there is a local market where you can haggle with the sellers for bargains. Turkish and English are the main languages. One trip not to be missed is a boat trip. This is a wonderful day at sea with lunch thrown in, sometimes fish caught and cooked right before your eyes! There are trout farms and restaurants in the nearby mountain villages, these are great, not only for their fresh fish dishes, but for cool fresh air in the heat of the summer months.

Further details indoors: The large bright and spacious lounge are tastefully and comfortably furnished. The french doors lead out onto the gardens. There is a fully equipped Kitchen with all the usual electrical appliances including a water cooler. There is a ground floor w.c. and washbasin. The large master bedroom which leads out to the large circular balcony has a kingsize bed, bedside cabinets, wardrobes and dressing table. The en suite has a full bath, shower, vanity unit and w.c. Bedroom 2 is twin-bedded with a balcony overlooking the pool, gardens with views of the Taurus mountains. The bedroom also has wardrobes and bedside cabinet. The en suite bathroom has a shower, vanity unit and w.c. A travel cot can be made available for a minimal fee.
Further details outdoors: Sunbeds are povided as well as table and chairs for al fresco dining. There are loungers on the balconies, great for enjoying the wonderful views and of course those sundowners!! The large pool is surrounded by mature planting which offers shade and privacy.

On arrival an English couple will meet you to show you around the apartment and are on hand to assist with any queries. The apartment is cleaned on a weekly basis during your stay. The towels are for use only in the apartment and guests should bring their own beach towels for use around the pool. A Turkish mobile phone is also provided with local telephone numbers programmed. A welcome pack can be provided at a small charge paid directly to the couple who will greet you on arrival.
Conditions
There is a deposit of £100 required at time of booking. The remainder of the balance is due 8 weeks before arrival. Damages over £25 will be invoiced to the guest.
