Villa Rosa, ideally situated in Kalkan’s Kisla Bay, oozes style. Beautifully finished and tastefully furnished, Not like the villas on top of the Kalkan Hills where you have to drive 20mins by car to reach the sea or any other activities, it’s close to the shores of the Mediterranean. The best of both worlds.

The first floor offers a self contained double bedroom apartment that opens out onto a huge poolside terrace.

On the second floor the main open plan kitchen is stylishly appointed and opens out onto a large, shaded terrace. While the full glass fronted living area could make getting off the couch a true challenge – stunning views plus!

The third floor has two ensuite double bedrooms with balconies and more views. One bathroom offers a jacuzzi, a fitting addition to this luxury villa.

This property is completed with a street level garage and a roof terrace affording full panoramic views and endless sunbathing.

Short walk down to shore with sundecking and swimming access. Regular dolmus boats to Kalkan village centre, 1.5km

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region

Kalkan lies on the Lycian peninsula on the southwest tip of Turkey in a region commonly referred to as the Turquoise Coast, so named after the beautiful shades the sea takes along the shoreline. Kalkan is steeped in the history of its fishing village origins but today focuses on its exclusive reputation as Turkey’s premier holiday location.

‘Quality not quantity’ is an appropriate phrase to describe the haven that is Kalkan. Locals and repeat visitors alike make no apology for discouraging mass package tourism, whilst strict planning regulations ensure that the allure and atmosphere of Kalkan is maintained.

The cobbled pedestrian centre delights the senses with its fishing village charm. Meander through the narrow streets and browse bazaar stalls offering local goods and wares where you can barter for authentic souvenirs. Do be sure of visiting the all day Market which is every Thursday and well worth a visit. Walks down to the harbour and watch the boats come and go from a sun-kissed waterside cafe.

Take your pick from the plethora of roof-top restaurants that are awash with culinary delights, content knowing that your meal will be accompanied by a beautiful Mediterranean backdrop.

The Kalkan / Kisla area

Turkey's best-known beaches of Kaputas and Patara are only a short ride away. Kaputas is a stunning shingle and coarse sandy beach about 15 minutes drive away with the clearest turquoise waters you have ever seen. Spectacularly unspoilt, Patara is a stretch of 18km of superb sand, approximately 20 minutes away from Kalkan.

Dalaman airport is 120 kilometres from Kalkan, approximately 1 hour 30 minutes transfer time along a very scenic route. There are numerous flights to Dalaman from the UK and Europe throughout the season. Alternatively Antalya airport, which is about an hour longer journey, this can sometimes be used to advantage when researching cheap flights either to Dalaman or Antalya airports.
