Villa Surya, A new four bedroom luxury villa is located in a stunning position overlooking Kalkan and its Bay on Turkey's turquoise coast. Only 15 minutes walk away from the town, yet enjoying magnificent views of the Taurus Mountains, Kalkan Bay and the Mouse Islands.
Entrance to the villa is via travertine flight of steps which take you to the terrace.
The ground floor has an open-plan living area with large patio doors which fully exploit the wonderful views, creating an atmosphere of light, air and space. These doors open onto the terrace on one side and a delightful al-fresco dining area on another, shaded by the unique roof design.
Villa Surya features an attractive outdoor Jacuzzi overflowing into a private 40 sq metre fresh water infinity swimming pool. The spacious pool terrace, in marble travertine, is fully equipped with wooden sun loungers, parasols, sofa-chairs, coffee table, BBQ, and large table and chairs for outside dining.
The arm-chairs and coffee table are perfect for candle-lit evenings, with a marble BBQ for long evening barbecues, and under-water lit swimming pool and garden lights providing a charming atmosphere to relax.

1st & 2nd Floor each have a Double and Twin Bedroom. The double rooms have king size beds with private balcony, built in wardrobes, dressing table and bedside tables; the Twin beds have private balconies, built in wardrobes with dressing table and bedside tables.

There are four luxurious marble bathrooms. En-suite bathrooms to double bedrooms have jet spa jacuzzi baths,separate walk in showers, toilet, sink, and storage space. En-suite bathrooms to twin bedrooms have walk in showers, toilet, sink and storage space. 4 hairdryers.
Kitchen:
The open plan modern kitchen features granite worktops, breakfast bar, Siemens appliances including a dishwasher, oven/grill, large fridge/freezer, gas hob/extractor, microwave, toaster, kettle, cutlery, water cooler. Large round dining table and chairs.
The living area has modern sofas, 42 “ LCD TV, Satellite TV, DVD with USB port, iPod dock, collection of DVDs and books, 2 air-conditioning units and a coffee table.
The utility room has automatic washing machine, washbasin, ironing board, iron, clothes rack, dustpan and brush.

The terrace, in marble travertine, is fully equipped with 8 wooden sun loungers, 4 parasols, sofa-chairs, coffee table, BBQ, and large table and chairs for outside dining. Shade is provided by the unique roof design.
Further details
A welcome pack containing foods such as bread, milk, juice and so forth, will provided when you arrive. The villa is suitable for children although they should be supervised when in or around the pool and jacuzzi. The DVD player contains a USB port so feel free to bring any movie's, music or pictures on a USB stick.
Smoking is strictly prohibited on the property.
Check-in is 4pm Check-out is 11 am
Access to the villa is via a flight of steps up to the terrace and pool area, this may cause problems for people with mobility needs.
Conditions
In order to book the villa, we require a non-refundable deposit of £250. The balance will be due 8 weeks prior to arrival. If the balance is not paid on the due date we reserve the right to cancel the booking and re-advertise the dates. A damage deposit of £250 is required when full payment is made. Subject to no damage to the property, this will be returned to you within two weeks of your departure. For bookings made within 8 weeks of your anticipated arrival, a full payment will be required.
Flights and transfers are not included.
The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region
Kalkan is a place to fall in love with.... It is a small Mediterranean resort and fishing village on the beautiful Turquoise Coast of Turkey. Kalkan Bay will cast a magical spell from the minute you approach Kalkan via the winding mountain road. It's crystal clear turquoise water and sublime Taurus Mountains that rise steeply behind it provide a dramatic and beautiful backdrop in which to enjoy your stay.
Reminiscent of the Ottoman Empire the narrow cobbled streets lead down to the quaint harbour, through the historic town and are lined with whitewashed villas with shuttered windows, their balconies garlanded with baskets of tumbling bougainvillea.
More sophisticated than neighbouring towns Kalkan boasts a good selection of boutiques offering jewellery, glass, pottery, clothes, leather goods, and carpets, not forgetting the delicious Turkish Delight. Many do not close till past midnight, giving you a perfect browsing opportunity following dinner.
The Kalkan / Ortaalan area
During the day Kalkan is quite sleepy as every morning the boats take tourists to one of the nearby beach clubs or off on excursions. Relax over coffee while watching the boats slip in and out of the harbour. Most people choose to swim or explore the multitude of beautiful ancient Lycian and natural sites of the area.
In the evening its all change when Kalkan bursts alive for long warm evenings. Good dining is a way of life in Kalkan. It has over 100 roof terrace and harbour-side restaurants and bars which offer a wonderful views of the town, sea and stars and serve delightful Turkish, Mediterranean and International dishes.
Historic sites of Xanthos and Letoon are a short distance away, as are the beautifully dramatic beaches of Patara, Kaputas and the mysteries of Kekova island. Or take a Gulet trip, walk the longest gorge in Turkey, enjoy mountain excursions or just stay in the Villa and enjoy the spectacular mountain and sea views - whatever kind of holiday you want - choose Villa Surya and Kalkan.
