About the home

Infinity Apartment is excellently located near the centre of Kalkan just a short stroll to the old town with its beach, harbour and many excellent restaurants. The apartment complex consisting of 13 apartments is new for 2011 and has been well designed to a very high specification with all comforts catered for.

The Very large roof terrace has breath-taking views of Kalkan Bay and the surrounding mountains. There is a shared swimming pool and bathing area. The living area is open plan and is very spacious with stunning views from each window. Kalkan is perfectly positioned for many cultural areas of interest, Lycian trial, Patara beach, Kaputas, Saklikent gorge, Kekova to name but a few.

Large balcony off every room perfect for al fresco dining and relaxing all with FULL sea views of Kalkan. Large swimming pool and comfortable terrace with umbrellas sunbeds and seating areas. Very well equipped for your comfort with 42 '' HD LCD TV full satellite package and ipod docking station also provided. Indoor glass and wrought iron dining room table, seating 6. Luxuriously fitted kitchen with high quality cooking utensils.

Large balcony off lounge with rattan corner sofa and 6 seater dining table, 2 rattan sun loungers and 2 reclining wooden chairs. Stunning sea views from every window.

Upstairs rooftop double bedroom has en-suite shower room with fully fitted wardrobes, drawers and dressing table as you can see by the pictures the linen is a very high quality and was locally made.

Downstairs has two double size bedrooms with one double and two twin beds, again with fully fitted wardrobes, drawers and dressing table both bedrooms have separate balconies again the linen is very high quality. A separate bathroom/shower is available.
Mosquito nets are fitted throughout so that you can enjoy the breeze without risking bites.

Parking available, no through road therefore very quiet location.
We used the penthouse balcony last year to hold my wife's special birthday party with 20 guests plus room to dance, it is a very private space to enjoy and relax the night away, there is also no noise caused by the only two local hotels day or night.

Booking requests can be made by email or telephone. If the apartment is available we will hold the reservation for you for up to 48 hours while travel arrangements are made. Please complete the booking form, including flight details and the names of each of the guests. We will then confirm your booking by email.

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region

Situated on the Lycian Coat there are many places of interest in the area.

Kekova the sunken city
Short winters and long summers mean a long season. Height of Summer can be hot for sun seekers. Spring and Autumn great for both sunning or walking etc.

The Kalkan / Central Kalkan area

Kalkan was a fishing village that was discovered by the yachts in the 60,s. Although it has grown considerably the old town has kept its charm with listed buildings,cobbled hilly streets lined with bouganvillia and lots of shops selling local arts and crafts. There are also many restaurants many with rooftop terraces with lovely views of the bay. Restaurants are of very good quality and all types of food can be found. Kalkan is a sophisticated resort. There is a town beach but amny people use the many beach clubs dotted around the bays all with free transfers with beds and swimming platforms. Watersports, Diving, boat trips all to be found here as well as many excursions available.

When asked about Kalkan there are two answers.'Never heard of it' or 'We go every year'

Kalkan is easy to reach by car.
Nearest airport is Dalaman which has many flights thorughout the holiday season.
Kalkan is app1.5 hrs from Dalaman airport and is an easy and picturesque journey. Car hire is readily available. We are happy to arrange airport transfers for you.
Antalya airport is 3hrs from Kalkan again transfer and car hire available.
There are many cheap flights to Dalaman but Turkish airlines and cyprus Airlines can also take you scheduled.

“An amazing apartment with an amazing view” I am normally not the tye of person to write a review, however this apartment was outstanding and i feel it warrants some feedback. There wasn't anything we could think of that was not catered for in this apartment. Everyhing is new and pristine. The owners were very helpful prior to and during our visit if we had any questions or queries. The apartment would easily cater for 6 people (although we were only 2), it has 1 double room and 1 twin room as well as a bathroom on the first level and a double debroom on the second level which had an en suite bathroom. There is also another WC on the second level. The upper level was the hub of the apartment incorporating the kitchen, dining room and the lounge, this is a beautiful open plan room which opens up onto the terrace. Now this had to be the best part of our holiday, we spent 80 percent of our time on this terrace. The terrace has an amazing view of which we never tired. The weather, despite it being late October, early November was fabulous.(cool in the evenings). The terrace is not really overlooked from any side, however there is a hotel to one of the sides, this did not really cause us any concerns as we strategically placed the furniture so that we could not be overlooked (the hotel was not noisy). The pool is small but suficient, although it was very cold (maybe this was due to the time of year). The apartment is ideally located for walking down to the harbour, although quite a challenge for those with mobility problems. As you can appreciate, Kalkan is quite hilly and these can be steep in parts. That said, local taxis are readily available. We had a hire car but very rarely used it. Walking to the harbour was pleasant but there are a lot of stray dogs (they are very friendly), they are looked after by a charitable agency and are in good health and do not beg for food, but felt you need to be aware of them. There are also lots of cats but again they are not really a problem as the waiters in the restaurants keep them at a distance. There is an abundance of bars and restaurants with everyone being lovely, the waiters are so accommodating and are a good source for local information. Can't say we had a bad meal during our visit and we ate out every night of our vist (9 days). The small cobbled streets are beautiful and well worth a stroll around during the day or evening, we discovered plenty of traditional souvenir shops. There are also a number of exclusive shops to be discovered. There is a small beach by the harbour which is pebbles, but sun beds are available. Patara beach is a very large sandy beach but is about a ten minute drive away, there is a regular bus route, well worth a vist. There is much more I would like to say about this holiday but feel I am starting to ramble, this is because we had such a lovely time. We have stayed in Kalkan before and although we had a fabulous time on our previous visit, this apartment just put the cherry on the cake. I would definitely recommend this apartment to friends and family and will almost certainly revisit. (Transfer about 2 hours, but some lovely views along the way). “A modern clean apartment ideally situated with stunning views of Kalkan” The apartment is situated just a few minutes walk from the old port town of Kalkan, it is well equipped and has full air conditioning. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants close to hand however the old town provides a wealth of eateries to choose from and the service and quality of food is exceptional. The locals are genuinely warm and friendly, unlike other holiday destinations, the Canaries spring to mind, it always feels safe and you are never pestered to by street touts, although local restaurants will encourage you to visit their establishments. If you want to put your feet up, catch the sun and watch the world go by there cannot be a better place to visit. The views from the apartment, especially the wrap around balcony off the main living area are to die for, my advice is to book now before everyone discovers this true gem of a destination. PS the apartment owners are a real joy to deal with, nothing being too much trouble, only slight downside is the lack of internet access at the apartment, although in fairness almost every bar, hotel and restaurant in Kalkan provides this free of charge.

Deposit:

A non-returnable deposit of £250 must be received within seven days of our confirmation email. This can be by online bank transfer, or by cheque. If the deposit is not received within this time we cannot guarantee holding the apartment for you.

Balance payment:

The balance is to be paid eight weeks prior to departure. Again, we can take a cheque, or online bank transfer. If the balance is not received we reserve the right to offer the dates to other interested parties.

Cancellation:

In the event of cancellation for any reason, we are unable to make any refunds. It is therefore advisable to obtain holiday insurance to cover any loss.

Should through circumstances beyond our control (earthquake, fire etc.) the apartment not be available to you, a full refund will be made.

Damages deposit:

A deposit of £200 will be required to cover any breakages or damage caused by you or your party whilst using the apartment. This will be returned to you within 7 days of you return.
