The Melissa penthouse apartment is part of the extremely popular Emir Apartment complex - returnees to Kalkan will vouch for its central location, just a comfortable five minute walk to the old town with its fabulous selection of restaurants and bars. A well stocked supermarket is conveniently only a 100 yard stroll.
One of the largest on the complex, the Melissa Apartment sleeps six people comfortably - Its spacious accommodation is spread over the enitire top two floors of the block and has been furnished to an exceptional standard througout. The apartment has two balconies on the first floor, one leading from the large living area and the other from the double bedroom. Up the stairs to the penthouse room, you have access to the magnficent roof terrace, where you can sit and admire the stunning views of Kalkan bay and the islands beyond.
There are two pools, plus a children's pool. Sunloungers and umbrellas have been provided for the exclusive use of our guests. The friendly onsite staff are available to greet you on arrival and help you in any way they can to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region
This beautiful Mediterranean area is steeped in history with many Lycian ancient sites of interest including Xanthos, Letoon, Pinara, Tlos and Patara within easy reach. The harbour towns of Kas (25 minutes) and Fethyie (1 hour) are well worth a trip. All are accessible, many by organised trips, bus or local car hire which is competitive and easy. The beaches particularly Patara (25 minutes) and Kaputas (10 minutes) are a must visit and Patatara has recently been described by the British press as amongst the most beautiful in the world.
Kalkan / Central Kalkan area
Kalkan, once a small fishing village, has lost none of its charm and character with white washed buildings lining the cobbled streets down to the harbour and local beach. The town is renowned for the fine and varied selection of restaurants and eateries with menus to suite every taste and pocket. The most popular are the roof terrace and harbourside restaurants with views and ambience worth the price of a meal alone. Those who enjoy shopping will not be dissapointed. There is an excellent range of shops offering everything from clothing and jewellery to 'designer' goods and local arts and crafts. Whilst there is a local beach only ten minutes from the apartment and of course there is Patatra and Kaputas nearby, Kalkan has a host of beach clubs all accessible by free taxi or boat taxi. All offer the choice of total relaxation or for the more energetic, there is water skiing, jet skis or the opportunity of being dragged around behind a boat on something inflatable.

Further details indoors: The accommodation is bright and airy and every attention to detail and quality has been given. Almost all the furniture has been custom built for the apartment. The kitchen is luxuriously appointed with everthing that you will need for the perfect stay. The penthouse suite has a king size bed and the two remaining bedrooms have twin beds. All have large fitted wardrobes and matching dressing tables and bedside tables. The owners have provided the highest quality towels and bed linen which are changed twice weekly. Bins are emptied and bathrooms cleaned every day.
Further details outdoors: Emir apartments has two full sized swimming pools incorporating a children's pool. The guests have pool side beds and umbrellas and gardens are beautifully maintained with various specimen plants and shrubs. Melissa apartment has two balconies and a wrap around roof terrace off the master suite all enjoying the magnificent views. There is a roof terrace brick built BBQ with a table and chairs to seat six. For those wishing to enjoy private sunbathing the terrace also includes an umbrella.
Further details
There is a meet and greet service at the Emir apartments with English speaking staff on site 24 hours a day. All guests receive a welcome pack to help getting things underway. Although there are two excellent supermarkets just a few minutes walk away.
Conditions
The apartment is strictly non smoking inside. To secure the apartment a holding deposit of £250 is required. The balance due eight weeks prior to departure. A £250 breakages and damage deposit is required and is returned within two weeks subject to the confirmation of our on site representative that everything is in order. The property is not suitable for those with restricted mobility.

The location and spectacular views from the apartment have to be amongst the very best in Kalkan!
