We returned from our holiday in Kalkan Turkey, staying in apartment Cactus 63 within the Patara Prince resort and I can honestly say this is a wonderful place. The apartment was stylish and comfortable with everything you could possibly need. The owners Tracey and Rob Walker were so helpful, making the booking process easy and giving us lots of information about the apartment and resort. Patara prince is simply beautiful. It's spotlessly clean and well maintained with stunning views around every corner. We had lovely meals both in Patara resort and Kalkan restaurants and ended our evenings sat on the apartment patio, watching the sun go down over the Taurus Mountains and the beautifully lit up Kalkan village. We had mud baths, went on boat trips and spent the day at Patara beach. You can easily while away the hours around the resort pools and at the waters edge on the bathing platforms. I could go on and on, the whole place just has the Wow factor and we will defiantly be booking to go back.
Thank you for your lovely review , so pleased you had a wonderful holiday.

What a wonderful holiday we spent in Club Patara. The booking process was made so easy by the owners and the apartment was perfect. A real little gem with lots of home from home touches and great views over Kalkan village and the mountains. The pools and bathing platforms at the waters edge were excellent with such lovely views over the sea and village. We used the infinity pool behind the apartment every day after visiting some of the many ancient sites, it was great to have the pool just a minute away from the apartment and we'd always call into the little shop for fresh bread and Turkish simets ,yummy ! Kalkan villiage is beautiful with a real old charm about it. We had some excellent meals and always found the Turkish people to be so polite and helpful. We,re searching for flights for our next visit as we write this x
Thank you for your great feedback, so please you had a wonderful time x

Apartment lovely with all the amenities we required and situated in a good location near the top of the resort which had the benefit of the infinity pool - often used only by ourselves. Additionally the shop was only a few yards away so fresh bread each morning was very welcome. Although the resort is on a steep hill this was no problem as the free resort bus ran every few minutes. The resort itself is very pretty and we particularly liked diving straight into the sea from the terraces.
Kalkan is great - the only problem is deciding where to eat each night as there are over 100 excellent restaurants to choose from. We had a car for the holiday so getting around and in and out of Kalkan was very easy.
While the resort is lovely it could easily be made excellent. It felt a little end-of-season and it was hard to find anyone to get you a drink when sunbathing. We only ate at the resort a couple of times (1 lunch and 1 buffet dinner). The food was OK but not as good as the Kalkan restaurants and the service left a little to be desired.
A number of the sun loungers were broken and the resort had tried, unsuccessfully, to repair them instead of replacing them. However there were plenty of loungers for everyone.
All in all a great holiday and an apartment and resort to which we would return.
Hi Neil, Many thanks for the great review , we were going to add your post holiday email to our guest comments. So pleased you had such a lovely time. Tracey & Rob
Holiday was great. We loved Kalkan, Patara Prince and your apartment. We even said that we could return - something we only rarely do.
Kalkan is excellent although choosing from all those wonderful restaurants is tricky!
We found that the best currency exchange rates were in Kalkan rather than the UK and it was even better when using credit cards.
We really enjoyed ourselves and expect to return in the not too distant future - thank you for making it all so easy.
