About the home
This stunning apartment which has been tastefully furnished to a high standard, the large open plan lounge
dining kitchen leads out on to balcony which has marble table and chairs, where you can sit with your morning
coffee, take in the views and plan the day ahead! Back in the evening to light that all important barbecue on the
fabulous roof terrace were there sofa and armchairs to chill out on.
Kalkan has a nice pebble beach which is next to lovely lively harbour were you can catch free boats to some
wonderful beach clubs were you can sunbath and have lunch. Patara beach is a 15 minute drive away or you can catch the local bus, it has great Roman ruins and lovely white sandy beach which is great for children.
It take a10-15 minute stroll in to the old town and beach .

toaster, and kettle.There is also a docking station for your i.pod.

The apartment is available all year round,minimum 1 week let from june to september a non refundable deposit
of £200 is required upon booking.The balance of rent due 8 weeks before the rental period.
The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region
This beautiful area is steeped in history with its many lycian sites such as tlos xanthos and patara all within easy reach. The salilikent gorge is short drive away takes you up in to the beautiful Taurus mountains
Fethiye with its bustling Tuesday market is a must. Patara is a gem of a beach (20 minutes away)
A day out hiking the famous lycian way though superb countryside
The Kalkan area
Kakan with its old cobbled streets winding down to the harbour, bustling with shops and rooftop restaurants which are many. Stop and have a coffee or beer in the open air at lot of bars. Kalkan has a lively atmosphere
in the evening, enjoy a meal and drink at good value for money.
Kapitas beach is just 5minutes drive away with Kas town 30 minutes away which has new marina planed for 2011. Take a gullet cruise with lunch around the bays lslands.
Kalkan has many mini markets, butchers, banks, and buses that run up and down the coast.

the journey between dalaman to kalkan is 1.5 hours by car we can arrange for transfers and car hire upon request although hiring a car is not necessary during your stay as the apartment is within walking distance
to the old town there are lots of taxis to bring you back .
we have found that www.economycarrentals.comis a good website and have used them many times ourselves

This was our second trip to these apartments and it did not disapoint. Apartments spotlessly clean and thoroughly cleaned during our stay. Ibo was always available to solve any problems which were always minor. Wonderful beach clubs to visit which are only a short ride by boat. Wonderful restaurants to dine in and you are almost spoilt for choice. Spectacular views from the apartment which is very well equipped and is an ideal base for your holiday |
