Kalkan Manzara & surrounding hotel resort possess their own unique charm and character. Due to their steep hillside location, unprotected terrace edges, staircases, & open picture windows, we do not consider the location suitable for young children or those with walking difficulties.
On occasions, especially during low season, certain facilities or amenities such as pools or restaurants or other local facilities etc, may not be open as advertised due to maintenance, weather conditions lack of demand or other reasons out of our control.
The Turkish Mediterranean Coast region
Often compared with Southern California, Lycia has a typical Mediterranean climate with hot dry summers, warm wet winters & 300 days of sun a year. The sea water temperature rarely drops below 16°C. The hottest days of the hottest months are cooled down by the "Meltem" which is a breeze that blows every afternoon. Nevertheless, people who have problems coping with the heat are recommended to visit the region during the spring, early summer, or in the autumn.
If you have never visited Turkey before, you will discover it is a country of great & varied beauty, with sparkling seas lapping golden shores, pine clad hills, snowy mountains & fertile green valleys. The startling beauty of the country is only matched by the warmth & friendliness of the Turkish people, for whom hospitality is a way of life.
Whether you travel to Turkey, on holiday, for a romantic break or honeymoon, to relax by the sea, marvel at the fascinating antiques or explore the spectacular countryside, we are confident that you will soon fall under its spell.
Only short distances are the famous sandy beaches of Patara & Kaputas Gorge. 30 Minutes away are some of the worlds most outstanding & unspoiled historic & archaeological sites including Xanthos, Pinara, Sydima, Letoon, Myra, & the sunken city at Kekova.
For those who enjoy an activity & adventure sports holiday, there are fantastic walks including the renowned 400km Lycian Way. Paragliding overKalkan or Olu Deniz lagoon, horse riding along the beach in Patara National Park, diving, sea kayaking, canyoning, jeep safari, cycling, river canoeing, or taking a cruise aboard a graceful wooden Gulet exploring Kalkan Bay.
Kalkan Manzara is located on the exclusive seafront estate of Patara Prince Resort. Take a beautiful 5 minute walk down the Spanish Steps, across the Hotel Plaza to the secluded waters edge terraces, sparkling pools, bars and restaurants.

Kalkan was once a small fishing village on Turkey’s Lycian Coast, but now has become a charming sophisticated resort. Against the backdrop of the Taurus Mountains Kalkan descends to the sea in terraces of whitewashed houses to a small harbour where elegant Gulets sway.

"A luxurious home from home with everything you could ask for and more"
Having stayed at Patara Prince several times before, we now feel we have found the best. Kalkan Manzara's Villa 56, is beautifully renovated unlike others, and appointed with comfy sofas, traditional features, super king ensuite master bed, a relaxing spa bubble bath with views out to sea, a body jet shower and lovely stone fireplaces.
Having arrived late the hamper was a welcome surprise and the villa was spotless.
The modern clean kitchen has everything from washing machine, dishwasher and microwave to fruit juicer, matching utensils and cutlery, and sharp knives!
The spacious terrace had fantastic views and we loved having breakfast watching the boats come and go.
The resort was beautiful with winding streets, stunning architecture and exotic plants, all tumbling down to private sun terraces and pools by the sea.
We were so happy and relaxed we hardly went anywhere, except taking the water taxi across to town, where the roof top and water front restaurants were out of this world.
If you have had enough of making do..................... visit Kalkan Manzara you will not be disappointed.

"Wow - what a fantastic place for a holiday"
This villa is lovely. It is so spacious, has a clean, bright and modern interior and there are wonderful views over the bay towards Kalkan with the mountains behind. We loved the enormous veranda which meant we could happily spend time relaxing at home if we didn't want to go out. The facilites at Patara Prince are some of the best we have encountered with lovely landscaped terraces, large swimming pools, including a kiddie pool and two restaurants. There was even a minibus that stopped right outside the villa to take us up and down from the pool area. If you want to eat out in Kalkan there are so many numerous really good restaurants (all outside) and Kalkan is a fun place to walk around daytime or evening. We hired a car so we could see the countryside (wonderfull scenery), visit Roman ruins and local villages and there is a fantastic beach a short drive away that is a must visit - you can get there by taxi if you don't have your own transport. We love it there and will be going for the fifth time later this year.

Plenty to do in and around Kalkan. Staying in the villa you will have access to the Hotel facilities including swiming pools.
