Tile-roof (not too hot in summer, not too cold in winter). 12 min. drive to picturesque and lively Kalamata. Ideal for couples and four-member families' summer and beach holidays.

The Peloponnese region
Peloponese is a very diverse region of greece in terms of landscape and climate. It is green, full of olive orchards, high mountains and long beaches. It is an ancient place. Ancient Olympia, the Epidavros theater, the ancient town of Messini and the site of Mycene are all found on Peloponese. The byzantine ruin town of Mystra is also on Peloponese.
Kalamata / Kitries area
Kalamata's history goes back millenias to the ancient Pharai. Today it is a lively, typical mediterranean city. The old town in the north is picturesque, full of cafes, farmer's restaurants and shops selling local produce. The centre of the city has prestigious cafes and all kinds of modern shops. The sea front is 2.5 km long pebble beach full of cafes, bars, pizzerias, and night clubs. Walking on the sea front is a pleasure during the evenings. The town has many major super markets with all kind of produce and products.
Mikra Mantinia where the apartment is, is a suburb of Kalamata right on its own beach (the best in the region). There is a bakery in Mikra Mantinia and several tavernas, cafes and bars. It is a villa neighborhood up on the hills above the beach

Fly to Kalamata airport and take taxi to Mikra Mantinia or Fly to Athens and take bus or car to Kalamata and Mikra Mantinia (Kalamata to Mikra Mantinia is 7km) Take ferry boat from Italy to Patras and then bus or car to Kalamata and Mikra Mantinia
