LARGE & SPACIOUS, Maison de Maitre is perfect for families & friends to get together. Offering private enclosed gardens & fenced private pools at this child friendly property, parents can sit back and relax while the kids play & toddlers explore in safety.
This beautiful house presents magnificent oak beams throughout + a stunning fireplace with wood-burner.
Kids will love our GAMES ROOM with Snooker, Pool, & Darts PLUS outside: Tree-house, Swings, Sandpit and not forgetting the 10mx5m heated pool and the 2mx4m Baby heated Pool with enclosed terrace with sunbeds.
A fully fitted modern kitchen provides everything to ensure all your self catering needs are met + more.
Located in a tranquil village, Maison de Maitre is perfect for families & friends to get away together to enjoy the
relaxing environment, being just 5 minutes from Josselin, the beautiful medieval market town, where supermarkets, shops, restaurants, bars etc..are abundant.
Heating throughout for winter lets includes underfloor heating, radiators and a wood-burner for those cosy evenings. Ample Parking off road for up to 6 cars. Linen & towels are all provided though please note that beach towels are not.
To make life easier for parents of little ones, cots, pushchairs, highchairs, & stair-gates are all available.

The kitchen & dining area is a large spacious area leading into the 'snug'. This is a cosy seating area where you can sit and relax or keep the chef company! The living room, furnished with comfortable sofas and armchairs, features the TV / DVD player, games cupboard and a library.
The Games room featuring snooker, pool and darts also has a CD Player / Ipod dock + a comfortable seating area to listen to your favorite tunes.
Bedrooms: On the 2nd floor, a family room (35 m2) comprises of a double bed + 2 single beds. A en-suite shower room adjoins it with WC+ vanity unit.
There are a further 2 bedrooms, both with double beds and a separate shower room with vanity unit + w/c.
On the 1st floor, a second family room (35 m2) comprising of a double bed + bunk beds has its own en-suite with bath & vanity unit. Separate WC. A 'kids corner' features a TV / Video/DVD Player, videos, toys and childrens books.
A second bedroom with 1 x double bed has again its own en-suite shower room with vanity unit & toilet.
A separate toilet with sink can also be found on the ground floor.
A laundry room, situated off the kitchen includes washing machine, dishwasher, freezer, ironing board, & iron.
The stairs are very old and may prove difficult for the elderly, handicapped and anyone who finds climbing stairs difficult.
Pets are welcome on the condition that hygiene is maintained in & out of the property at all times. It will also be requested that pets are not allowed into the bedrooms.

Further details outdoors:
From the rear of the property a graveled area, with flowered borders, leads to a terrace with garden furniture and a large parasol. The 2 heated pools are surrounded by a tiled terrace with sun-beds provided. The pools are entirely fenced off with a locking gate to safety standards. The gardens have many mature trees, some of which are fruit trees including apples, pears & plums. A fantastic tree house + slide will keep the kids amused for hours as will the trampoline, swings and sandpit.
To the side of the property is a large driveway for up to 6 cars. Gates secure the property.

25% deposit required to confirm reservation / booking.
Security deposit of £200 is requested with balance 6 weeks prior to arrival.
The security deposit is reimbursed once our gîte has been checked for damages, breakages & cleanliness.
Cleaning service is additional.

The Brittany / Morbihan region

La Gree St Laurent is situated in the countryside and yet not far from the highway for easy access to attractions, beaches and shops.
The old historical towns of Dinan, Vannes, Rochefort en Terre are all also worth a visit.
Just 1 hrs drive away are the south coastal beaches and ports, all reminiscent of the Cornish Coast.
The mysterious standing stones, 4000 of them erected during Neolithic times, 5000 - 2000 yrs BC lie in the town of Carnac. Carnac Plage also happens to be a popular seaside resort providing a good day out for all the family.

The Josselin / La Gree St Laurent area

The beautiful medieval town of Josselin is just 5 minutes drive away. Here you can view the fantastic château situated on the Nantes-Brest canal. Bars, restaurants and shops are aplenty in this historical town.
Ploermel, 15 mins drive away is a small haven for those loving water-sports.
Water-skiing, sailing, boating are all available on this popular resort + man made beach, restaurant, small pool & park. Golf, bowling, & cinema are also found nearby.

From the UK, ferry crossings with Brittany Ferries are very popular leaving from either Portsmouth, Poole & Plymouth to the french ports at St. Malo, Caen, Cherbourg & Roscoff.
Nearby airports are found at Dinard, Rennes, Brest & Nantes.
A car is necessary so ferry crossings prove very popular. We are able to offer discount to those using Brittany Ferries.
