Ocean Reef is located in the City of Joondalup 28kms (20 minutes by train or car) N NW of Perth City on our beautiful Sunset Coast.

Ocean Reef is an exclusive beachside suburb situated on the Indian Ocean's beautiful Sunset Coast.

A five minute drive will see you at the prestigious Joondalup International Golf Resort with it's popular "British" Kangaroo Arms or on spectacular Mullaloo Beach overlooking the pristine waters of the Indian Ocean with accompanying surf club, tavern/restaurant and coffee shop.

A two minute drive from your accommodation will see you at Ocean Reef Boat Harbour providing first class boat launching facilities and fishing opportunities.

Ten minutes drive will take you into the heart of the City of Joondalup and it's retail showpiece of Lakeside Joondalup Shopping City integrated with the rail and bus interchange (20 min train ride to centre of Perth).

Joondalup City's Neil Hawkins Park is situated on the western bank of Lake Joondalup and is renowned for it's friendly parrots. See other native flora and fauna including kangaroos in their native habitat. The park's facilities include BBQs, gazebos, play areas, drinking fountains and lighting for that evening BBQ at the lake. At 6pm stroll back into the city for the Friday night summer markets.

Voted the best marina in WA at the Annual Marine Industry Awards, Hillarys Boat Harbour incorporating Sorrento Quay boardwalk is a fifteen minute drive from your accommodation. The attractions include AQWA, restaurants, activities, shops and services catering to fishermen, sailors, beach goers, tourists and locals. Catch the ferry from here to Rottnest Island .

Your accommodation places you within five minutes of local beach walking and cycle paths extending to beautiful Burns Beach to the north or Scarborough surf beach to the south. The nearby City of Joondalup has cycle and walking trails throughout it's beautiful natural surroundings of lakes, bushland or City Centre.
