Western Australia ..the bread basket of minerals and mining projects for the Western World . Its all booming in WA at the moment with an unprecedented number of new immigrants moving to make WA their home , and what a choice ! Some of the best beaches in Australia are right on your doorstep, as are marinas , world class aquarium, bars pubs restaurants , and two golf courses but a chip and a put away .Lake Joondalup a natural wetland teeming with birds and an ideal place for a cycle is but 3km away. The Swan valley with its many Wine farms chocolate factory brewing halls and restaurants is a short 25 minute drive away.

Further details indoors: DRIFTWOOD Cottage is furnished in the modern style and is immaculately clean,and uncluttered, our biggest selling points with repeat visitors. There is a Parents' retreat /lounge room close to the main en suite which allows those wishing for a quieter time to relax away from the hub of the house which contains the open plan kitchen , family room and dining areas.
The Main bedroom (queen size bed)has an en suite toilet, shower and basin and a walk in robe . A short passage leads to a smaller single bedded room , a queen bedded double bedroom and a room containing two single beds , the latter two being bright sunny rooms with views over the garden. A computer + study area forms an ante room to these three rooms off the end of the passage. The family bathroom contains a bath , toilet and hand basin . A laundry and toilet are located in separate adjacent rooms . Dont worry about rainy days , the internal drying line should take a full load from the washing machine
Further details outdoors: DRIFTWOD Cottage has a roofed Al Fresco patio accessed off the main Lounge through large aluminium sliding doors .A gas barbeque set graces the patio, which being north and east facing is protected from the afternoon sea breeze , the Fremantle Doctor , that raises its head on summer afternoons cooling the sun baked suburbs close to the sea. Your outlook over the enclosed back garden with large lawn allows you to keep an eye on the kids as they run around , or simply watch the wind and clouds drift by . The front of the house presents neatly with a smaller lawned area all level with the road . St Stephens school grounds are a mere 200 m away for the more energetic.
Why not get on a bicycle and take a ride around nearby Lake Joondalup with its prolific birdlife.?

Lynne and Grant have been hosting guests in short term accommodation for the past three and a half years in Perth and have developed a passion for the industry and a keen understanding of their guests needs during this period. Why not give them a try for yourself ?
Conditions
We require $200 deposit on confirmation of a booking with a full weeks rent payable in advance 12 weeks prior to first occupation . This is normally easily done with bank transfers which gives all parties an audit trail !
