The Western Australia / Perth Metro Area

WA is the largest state in Australia. Along the western coast line lies the Indian Ocean, with some of the worlds clenest beaches. The climate is very mild; from Sept-Nov is spring with temperatures in the late 20's every day and minimul rainfall. Dec-Feb are the hottest months with an average temperature of around 35 degree's, with little or no rainfall. Mar-May Autumn late 20's little rain, and finally June-August Winter average temp of 20 degree's and quite a lot of rain.
Places of interest are; Rottnest Island, Perth City, Kings Park, Fremantle, Dolphin/whale watching,Beaches @ Scarborough, Mullaloo, Cottesloe, Hillary's.....just to name a few!

* Neil Hawkins Park: 2 minute walk from The Lake House. There you find the Lake, Kangaroo's, Parrots and many species of wild birds. There are gas bbq's and picnic areas for you to enjoy.
* Joondalup Resort County Club: World famous golf course, just a 3 min drive/bus away.
* Joondalup Arena: Local leisure centre, with play pool, olympic swimming pool, gym & aerobic classes.
* Carramar Gold Course: Public golf course 5 mins drive
* Hillary's Boat Harbour: Stunning marina, with specialty shops, cafe's, restaurants and children's play ground on the beach. 15 min drive
* The Great Escape: Water slides situated at Hillary's boat harbour.
* Aqua: Also situated at Hillary's, Australia largest aquarium.
* Yanchep Stables and Lagoon: Yanchep is north of Joondalup about a 25 min drive. there you will find the stables, you can ride to the beach on horse back. The lagoon is excellent to enjoy the beach, fishing and rock pooling.
