This beautiful spacious 3 bedroom villa sleeps a maximum of 7 and is located less than a minutes walk from one of the most beautiful beaches on the island, and you have to walk through Castaways Beach Bar to get to it, Oh No ! lol

The spacious wooden decking extends over the water and you have your own BBQ area which is great for entertaining or just relaxing with a cocktail, plus you'll find the Breeze House, a Gorgeous Water Side Gazebo for outdoor dining, who's constant breezes ensure your never too hot.

There are plenty of Amenities within walking distance, supermarket, chemist, hairdresser etc., there are also several good restaurants and bars on the harbor, and an excellent 18 hole golf course. The beach has all water sports including Jet ski's and diving Club etc.

If you want to organise a trip out, weather it be relaxing on a Katamaran, a days Sailing, or a morning Zip Lining across the Island, the managers will organise it for you.

The Temperature in Antigua stay at approximately 28 Degrees All Year Round!

This villa is within the popular Jolly Harbour resort which boasts the biggest Marina in the Caribbean.

The Jolly Harbour 18 Hole Golf Course is 10 minutes walk away from the Villa, you can also hire a golf buggy for the whole of your stay to get yourself around the marina quicker. Then just hire a car for the odd days outing, much cheaper. There is everything you could possibly need on the Marina, so unless you want to leave you certainly don't need to.

The recreational possibilities on antigua are endless. I have listed but a few here: yacht sailing, katamaran trips, snorkelling, diving, sailing club for beginners, zip lining, kite skiing, helicopter trips, go carting, jet skiing, speed boat hire. Stingray city, where you can stroke stingrays in the water. The list could go on for hours, there is literally loads to do in Antigua. Not to mention the local bars and restaurants that are dotted all over the harbor.

There is a large Supermarket 5 minutes walk from the Villa, also many shops and Banks, there is also a Pharmacy. So you don't need to leave the Harbour if you don't want to. Car Rental, Fishing shops, childrens clothes and a few boutiques, and general Stores/chemist that stocks pretty much everything

There are several Restaurants in Jolly Harbour, including Local and Italian Food and a Pizzaria (Real Italian Pizza in a Wood Fired oven, a Greek restaurant, a pool Bar and Retaurant beside the comunal Pool. Il Giardino, fine dining. Castaways has a wide menu and produces lovely food, reasonably priced, including full English Breakfast. Also does 2 for 1 drinks and food during Happy Hour.

Entertaining: There is always something on in Jolly Harbour. Tuesdays, Al Porto has an Eat all you want Pasta night, which is always fun and full, with live music. Wednesdays is Karaoke night at The Crows Nest next to the Pool and Tennis Courts, Thursdays is 2 for 1 Pizza with Live music on the Harbour front, Friday is Karaoke night at Castaways. And there is Live music and dancing at The Crows nest on many nights of the week, and the Bands they have are truly great!

Jolly Harbour is a great place for kids, it is secure , the entire Harbour has security gates and security people all over, so no one without a pass can enter. You you can relax and have peace of mind, the locals love kids and they can make as much noise as they want, they are invited to take part in all the dancing and karaoke nights, so mum and dad can kick back and relax.

I was there recently (May/June) with my 8 year old daughter for the first time after buying Villa Gatzby, I was a bit concerned that she would be bored as she is an only child, I couldn´t have been more wrong, she danced, sang, made pot pies, fished, screamed with delight out on the speed boat. There is Cable TV & DVD in the Villa, which we found very useful at night as she just watched telly until she fell asleep, which was also remarkable.

"The perfect location for a family holiday"

We knew from the moment of booking the Vllla Gatzby that we would have a special holiday and our expectation were met in full. From the first email to Vicky to the meet and greet on arrival everything … More

Dear David,

Thanks so much for your wonderful review, in response to the boat comment, it is in repair at moment, as was the boat lift, it is normally there. The sockets confused me a little as when we left in December, we left several sdapters in the bottom drawer in the kitchen, and also a block on top of the tumble dryer which takes 5 uk plugs, I will be checking with our managers out there to see why there where not there, or not working. We do try to make sure that everything is aways perfect for our guests, and any guest is free to email me direct if something is not working, or indeed to contact Amy, who manages it out there, she would replace anything that isnt working.

Thanks again for your lovely words, and I hope we will welcome you again in the future to Villa Gatzby.

All the best

"Excellent location and Villa"

We are a large family of 2 adults and 4 children (the oldest being 15 and the youngest being 4), who recently stayed one week at Villa Gatzby.

This was our first trip to Antigua and our first trip in 7 years. Before booking the owner Vicky Bell supplied us with endless information and made us feel comfortable about our decision (which was very last minute) to book Villa Gatzby. We were offered the services of having a car rental or transfer booked for us from the airport, but chose to book the car ourselves, just because we felt like it. Upon our arrival at Villa Gatzby, we were greeted with big smiles by both Amy and Margot (the management team) who supplied us with a lovely welcome basket which was enjoyed almost immediately.

The Villa is in an amazing location of Jolly Harbour, only a 1 minute walk from the beach which you can see if you look to the left, and straight in front it had gorgeous views of the harbour and mountains. It was very tranquil and pleasing.

Villa Gatzby has everything you need to make your stay comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and open as well as both bathrooms are stylish and clean. The bedrooms are extremely comfortable, with a king master, queen 2nd and a 3rd being the smallest holding a single over double bunk bed. The closets are massive, large enough to hang all your clothes and hold your suitcases too, with still space to spare! The living area has 2 large leather sofas and a large flat screen TV, and it also opens up directly to the outside patio. Every room has separate air conditioners and ceiling fans on the soaring ceilings. The air conditioning is so sufficient that many nights we turned it off as it was too cold.

Outside there is a covered tiled lounging area with 2 new loungers, and also another separate covered deck eating area with a new table and 6 chairs. Then there is a large upper and lower deck, the upper having a gas barbeque and a hot tub, and the lower having an outdoor shower to wash off your sandy feet. There is also a private boat that you can charter directly through the owner if you wish.

Villa Gatzby was freshly painted blue and landscaped days before our arrival which had it looking very clean and beautiful. I would recommend this villa over and over again. We had a lovely stay and if we ever return to Antigua we will look no further than Villa Gatzby! Many thanks to Vicky for making our stay so wonderful. Just as a side note, when renting a car in Antigua, get a GPS!!!
